Ranta sijaitsee saaren toisella puolella ja sinne kuljetaan ensin jalan, jolloin kävellään noin 250–300 metriä loivaa ylämäkeä. Sen jälkeen noustaan golfkärryn kyytiin, jonka hinta on 20 kunaa yhdensuuntaisesta matkasta ja joka maksetaan käteisellä. Kyydin kesto on noin 6–10 minuuttia. The outdoor section was the highlight, making the tunnel excursion feel redundant, especially when trying to fit it into just six hours alongside the boat tour.

Der Besuch der Brücke und der Spitze der Petronas-Türme war sicher interessant, aber kein Muss, denn der Blick AUF die Türme ist oft noch eindrucksvoller. Ich habe viele E-Mails mit widersprüchlichen Anweisungen erhalten, wo ich meine Eintrittskarte abholen sollte – im Hotel, vor Ort nach Vorlage des Vouchers oder einfach als Anhang. Am Ende waren es dann tatsächlich die E-Mails mit Anhang, die gezählt haben. Wäre vor Ort etwas Geduld mitgebracht worden, hätte man das Problem vielleicht auch lösen können.

Det var jo ikke helt optimalt at GetYourGuide og x-Adventure hadde så ulike meldinger om møtetidspunktet – 30 minutter før versus kun 3 minutter før – noe som skapte usikkerhet rundt hvor vi skulle møte og hvem som skulle være der. Det ga et litt kaotisk førsteinntrykk. Men selve padleturen var likevel helt fantastisk. Guiden var ekstremt kunnskapsrik og fortalte spennende ting, selv om han virket ganske sliten ettersom dette var den andre turen hans den dagen. Han var litt ustrukturert i sin rolle og var åpen med at han ville kutte litt i turen, noe som påvirket helhetsopplevelsen litt. Til tross for den litt uorganiserte starten og guidens mestringsnivå, var opplevelsen på vannet veldig god.

De ijsbar was helaas gesloten vanwege de coronamaatregelen, maar je kunt wel het restaurant of de sauna reserveren. De vervoer was acceptabel, al viel het op dat veel Finnen op hun telefoon zaten tijdens de rit. Na afloop moesten we helaas 20 minuten wachten op de terugkomst. Desondanks een aanrader als je een leuke activiteit zoekt.

Nous avons ensuite vogué vers l'île de Lokrum. Les participants ont été répartis en deux groupes selon leur niveau et leur endurance : soit pour une grande boucle autour de l'île, soit pour une balade plus tranquille. Les guides sont sympathiques et l'accueil est soigné avec une préparation de dix minutes avant le départ. Un petit en-cas était également fourni. Un régal !

Plus, it’s a huge relief not to have to worry about navigating the tricky, winding roads in southern France yourself. Laurent’s English is excellent, but he also speaks French and smoothly switches between the two to ensure everyone on the tour can follow along.
