Hoewel ik Gemeente Ede als gemeente over het algemeen waardeer met een cijfer van 8, springt er een detail direct in het oog. De aanwezigheid van die mobiele toiletten op de Dertmarlaan staat nu echt in de weg en verstoort het aanzien van deze anderszins zo fraaie straat in Ede. Het lijkt erop dat de gemeente dit punt al langere tijd over het hoofd ziet.

Wachten op Gemeente Ede is nogal geduld vereisen, zeker als je eerst tien minuten aan de lijn staat. Dat het postadres van mensen niet klopt, lijkt hier een terugkerend probleem te zijn. Ik heb de brief al twee keer retour gestuurd omdat die voor iemand anders bestemd was, maar toch ontving ik net opnieuw post die niet voor mij was. Het gaat deze keer om de WOZ-waarde van een bewoner uit een ander dorp. Dat kan toch niet zo complex zijn?

De toegang tot het gemeentehuis in Ede is lastig en de bejegening was teleurstellend. Ik heb onvoldoende geholpen gekregen en bleef met vragen zitten, wat een duidelijk verschil laat zien ten opzichte van het servicepeint in het verleden.
