Foxx Lounge

Best dogs and music in town relaxed atmosphere and always worth a visit

Wow. Some of the greatest music and food. Always a good time.

Love the staff and the vibes of this venue. Great food, great drinks and overall a great experience.

It was okay, I had an okay time. It seems like a popular place; apparently this is one of the only music venues in Barrie in which a band can hope to get a reasonably sized audience. Internet, please correct me if I'm wrong!

Great music venue. Sound quality was the best ive heard in Barrie

Played a few shows here with my band. Awesome food and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Great atmosphere and sound system. Perfect spot to see your favourite band.

Great place! Affordable & good laughs for a great deal for stand-up comedy night, many talented comedians! Will definitely come again... :-)

Great service!! Excellent drinks, good prices, good atmosphere

Would not recommend stopping here if you are a touring band.

Good times , great food and a great alternative to the stereo typical pub or dance bar.

They have band's bud charge $5 cover charge that a portion goes to the Canadian mental health association.

Excellent live music venue, staff is friendly, quick, and welcoming. A premier place for underground/new/emerging punk and rock music. When you are playing here, the bar owners do everything in their power to make you feel at home and want to come back.

Great bar to visit on any night they are open. The staff are friendly, the drinks aren't over priced and the food is amazing! The atmosphere is the main reason why I visit, perfect place for introverted music lovers to visit because the people they're aren't pushy and you just feel safe. Sendoff moody definitely highly recommend to anyone asking about it or asking for a new venue to frequent

Great atmosphere, well priced drinks and delicious hotdogs!

My favorite place to be. Live alternative music, good food, great people, What more could one want!

One of the few places to check out talented local bands

Come for the music, stay for the people. Great service and unique environment.

Best (and probably only) hot doggery in town with great live music nights to boot!

Amazing food, incredible music and just all round awesome vibe. Played many shows here with my band The Noolands and I have nothing but good things to say!

Great venue. Great staff ice cold drinks. You def! need to check it out.
The hot dogs and bar food is delicious!!!

Well I met and collaborated with a potential colleague to help raise mental health awareness tonight, so overall the visit was great. Although, I wouldn't be true to myself if I didn't mention that the woman who took my cover was straight up... A bit... Crabby.

Great place for live music. They are huge supporters of local talent. Limited seating.

amazing place for everyone to feel welcome & always has the best music in town

Food was good, beer was tasty and the comedy was great.

Great place to listen to some music and grab a drink

I've had an opportunity to visit the Foxx lounge on many occasions and can only come up with the greatest things to say about this place. The owner Shane n his wife make the atmosphere in the establishment an unforgettable time. From Shane's creative gourmet hotdogs, perfect every time and the musical talent for live entertainment just is amazing. Every night it's something different at the Foxx lounge, if you are in the Barrie area or passing through the area stop in say hello to Shane or Glenda and instantly you feel the comfort of a great establishment. I know I'll be back for more gourmet hotdogs, and to catch a live act on stage, hope to see you there, cheers

Love this venue!! Great shows, great food, great atmosphere!! Always greeted with a warm hello and a cold drink, best bar in town!!

Great atmosphere, comfortable and fun. Occasionally get some Bands that aren't quite your taste in music, but at the same time it's a plus to listen to undiscovered Musical Talent, and have some drinks

Great venue, menu and owners. Folks went out of their way to ensure that the food I forgot I had ordered was satisfactory and it most definitely was. Bruschetta veggie dog or bust. Eat it cold or you re weird.

Went there to see a sick band called Catching Hold. Loved the atmosphere, and the staff were great

Younger crowd, love the vibe and the games and sofas! Great owners too - always friendly.

Not a great place. Small bar, music is loud and musicians extremely untalented, for a lack of a better word. I have met many who walk put and never return.

Awesome venue. Shane and the staff work tirelessly to keep quality live local music happening!

Gonna give this place 5 stars because im moving in to Barrie from near Toronto and this towns local rock music scene seems dead aside from this place...
As a musician that hurts my soul. so i gotta show some support for whats going to be where I end up playing my gigs, if I can even form a new project out here.
Cheers.

Fun place to listen to bands. Eclectic and friendly.

Little place supporting local bands. Had the nachos and a beer. Nice to watch live music at an affordable price.

Another awesome place in barrie to chill on a sunday night.

Always a good time, and a decent spot for late night eats. I enjoy playing on open Wed especially!

I've been going here for years they always have great shows thursday to Saturday sometimes even Wednesday but those are usually jam nights which is cool it's like s pimped out karaoke but more the owners are great the food is amazing and the drinks are cheap and made well always with a smile

Fantastic lounge and bar, open mic night on Wednesday is fantastic

Absolutely stellar spot to take in some killer live music!

Best bar in town. Always a fun atmosphere with guaranteed good times. Friendly service and great food.

My favorite place to drink in Barrie. Staff are cool. Good times

The best live music venue. Hands down. Great food to boot

Wicked venue that's keeping the live, independent music scene alive.

Had a good time there. It's small and loud . Bartender was nice and the kitchen supplied veggie hotdog. Watching the different bands was a nice change of pace. Really enjoyed myself

This is where you wanna go for cheap beer and cool local music.

Great staff and music venue !! Sound guy is awesome

What can I say that most of y'all don't already know great atmosphere calm and cool clientele 99.99 percent of the time wicked original tunage

Wonderful local venue, relaxed atmosphere, awesome live events!

Great food that has delicious vegan options. Good music and drinks.

Place was packed in a good way, great music. They have a comedy night on Tuesdays. And host many concerts. I will return.

One of a kind concert venue and hotdoggary in downtown, delicious food and great staff. The decor is very unique, giving the venue a punk-like vibe. They are constantly doing fundraisers and the whole bar has a family feeling. There is more than average seating and the vintage movies projected onto the walls are awesome!
