This angency acts like a mad black woman agency tht ain't getting no play . there's no male supervisors they make false accusations gives my friend and hard time with his.child on visits and make him look bad in court lie about visits smh I was in foster care before I'm a woman myself this agency.needs new people in it for real the judges aint good dnt catch the agency in their petty lies .you might as well get a paid lawyer they dnt take these city lawyers seriously new York horrible place to have your child .these people need to get fired supervisors and all.they give the men a hard time let the mother take the child out but not the father drug test the father but not the mother? Crazy

This is the place that I was read that when I was a young teenager in New York City I was homeless and I was in state-run care facilities when they sent me to Forestdale it was called Brooklyn home for children and it was the greatest place in the world for young kids from the ghetto to be raised at they have families type atmosphere and very caring staff at the time I was there is Helen Fay Mr Hudson you know the director dr. Hassan and mr. Unger mr. DeVito Danny DeVito burnout let me send these what a mentors and staff that young man into young response to the society unfortunately I left before I should have and I missed out on the opportunity that they have to offer but I seen others get everything that they needed to move on and be successful in life. The greatest place in the world for orphaned children and homeless kids I love this place and if ever I get a lot of money I would definitely donate a good portion of it to Forestdale.

This AGENCY has been in been in existence from the late 1800. Starting at that time as a children's orphanage. Serving over the years they are now operating as one of the most successful foster care agencies In nyc, children coming into care through ACS or the court system are assessed by qualified social workers and seen by healthcare professionals then placed in adequate foster homes where all are qualified, thoroughly trained, foster parents. Serving as a resource caregiver to help children cope with their new surroundings. The agency is located in a quiet neighborhood on secured grounds for the protection of all the children. A security guard is there at the entrance to get any additional information before heading inside. Overall Forestdale is a good agency that does their best to provide children a professional caring environment to meet all their needs. While helping to provide necessary resources to reunite familes.

I don't really know what happens here, but the festivities are pretty great

Take kids away from good parents and doesn't really help the parents get them back it's like they love to break up a good and happy familys

Worked here and honestly I waisted my time it was pure bs the whole month I worked I never got payed

We have gotten no where with 2 of the case workers. No return phone calls no return e-mails

My grandbaby was taken from the hospital afterbirth last week, I was supposed to have visits with baby as of Monday, Today is Thursday, still no visit, Agency claimed that the baby will need a neck brace to move around..I have six other of my grandchildren, took care from birth, never had issues moving them around..One was a premature baby as well as the newborn now..I feel they hiding something from me..Very cheap n not professional,

Does not answer the phone i have to call 20 times this morning still no answer ....parent was a minute late took vistit away no matter if its a minute 20mins late you still wait for the parent i was in fostercare also this is bad services.

They offer Parenting, anger management, domestic violence courses and preventive services. Might be non-profit funded by city

Not professional ! Not clean (I have photos) they dont treat all of the kids with respect. Case workers gossip about parents. Case workers are NOT urgent when it comes to safe of the children. 83% of contracted ACS agrncies FAILED TO KEEP THE CHILDREN SAFE according to the NYC DAILY POST !!!!

They are very kind, understanding friendly, without knowing them I feel that we are like family,
