Brilliant place, full of very smart people. NOT open to the public!
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM EAG / THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE!!! Mark Packer (Billericay) especially. To start the car was a month late. The car came below standard (welding of the car was completely exposed and looked More
Superb support of the juniors at East Essex Tri Club
Visited for car show good facilities just enough toilets
Lovely place fantastic parking people very helpful and nice
This is a good place, where excellent work is done by fine chaps.
Because they messed up a job on our work van( didnt fit the propshaft correct) so we took it back after breaking down and getting recovered then they charge gtc our company for a new propshaft which the mechanic messed up. Wont use these again and the small blonde behind the desk is very grumpy. No stars for this place.
Love it. The employees are very friendly and I had the chance to visit there factory.
Very well organised, clear paths and good instructions from the security staff, good parking for deliveries, lovely clean work environment.
LVRC Cycle racing here on the test track every other Thursday in summer
Dunton is now synonymous with Ford of Europe. It sparked the rapid growth of the town of Laindon up around it, and provided employment for a large percentage of the local populace, in one form or another. The building, in parts, is looking a little dated now, but that just adds to the atmosphere. It's a testament to local industry, and an icon (probably the only) of the Laindon landscape.
First time we have returned to Dunton since very poor communication last year .
We returned this year with a Van under warranty with problems (also with a view to purchasing 2 more vehicles following recent incidents )
First and foremost the service has deteriorated even lower than my experience last year . No one ever answers the phone calls except the poor receptionist they all hide behind ! Asking them to return a call is a complete waste of time even if promised.
The courtesy car you are promised is never available , and not what you expect to be under warranty ever is ..... Very Poor Customer Service...surprised they are still in business.
:::::::::::::::::::::Two weeks on and still nothing ! they say Ford only offer x4 mechanics for the south and the one we have allocated is on annual leave! get that........i will be without a vehicle for another x2 weeks. the main Ford center say they are not obliged to offer a courtesy vehicle. absolute shocking service...well done ford. We also have a fault on the body work cracking the windscreen repeatedly....lets see how many months this takes to resolve!
Mark , i suggest you take a look at my vehicle , you may pick up some pointers on where to improve the build quality , as god help us when they go wrong!
Starting point Dunton to Harwich. Essex Air Ambulance Charity Run.
About 4500 bikes of all shapes and sizes .
And a police escort all the way.
If you ride a motorbike come and join us for next year's ride .
I visited this establishment for work. I found the parking adequate and local to the main entrance the staff were polite smart and very helpful. I got exactly what I wanted in the time frame that suited me I recommend that you phone a head first because they're not designed to be customer facing. I went on a pre-booked appointment. I found the the technical expertise that I got was exemplary. It was much appreciated.
Staff at parts side. Don't acknowledge other customers waiting, only the customer. Otherwise they do a great job
Great global employer and place of work, staff are bright problem solvers.
Robert, you are referring to ESSEX FORD DEALER not Ford Dunton Technical Centre. The technical centre is where future vehicles are designed and tested.
Expedition to view the new ford Kuga due for release in March to replace my stolen vehicle
Anyone viewing this vehicle will not be disappointed. Very very helpful salesman
Thank you mr. Paul Cooper
Came away highly delighted
Only went here for the charity rideout... what can I say.. carpark was lovely...
Excellent group of engineers, wonderful work being conducted.
At the Havering Classic Car and Motorcycle show at the Ford test centre at Dunton. I came here for the Mustang event but saw even more cars at the other event which was raising money for charity. Hot Rods; Classic Fords of all descriptions; live music, stalls and wall to wall Ford Cars.
Ford opening up its doors to these events reminds me of British Nostalgia. It is a feel good day.
Ford have done a sterling job hosting these events.
My personal score is 10/10.
Have had fabulous service today . Done everything they said they would car is excellent well done Gary Byford would certainly buy from you again.
Frankie's classic car show celebrating years of the Ford capri.
Contrary to the reviews already on this page; nobody had their car serviced here as it's a technical centre where vehicles are developed. This is not open to the public
Here for the Essex and hearts air ambulance Motorcycle run. Fantastic day out but not very much here other than large car parks for the bikes to meet on.
Essex air ambulance bike run superb day and fundraising event
You can immediately unload yourself. You must then provide the place number where you parked the car and your papers will be signed immediately.
I only go for the Cycle Racing on Thursday evenings in the summer; good circuit to ride on!
This is not the Essex Auto Group Ford dealership, this is Ford Dunton Research and Development centre.
Go here every year for the last 10 years to be part of Essex Air Ambulance charity Motorcycle run (Dunton to Hawich)
Fords Dunton open they doors to allow the charity and over 5000+ motorcycles to use they car parks and toilets ... Great hosts many thanks
Ford conduct research and fake the mileage expectations of cars here.
The EAG dealership has nothing to do with the Ford Technical centre close by, they are not Ford
Im an automotive engineer so went there for work. Not alot to say really as it's an engineering campus lol
Well organised bike ride for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance
This is the UK Technical Centre for Ford Motor Company which is not publicly accessible. Not to be confused with the Essex Ford Dealership which is located on the access road to the technical centre site.
