These fins are incredibly easy to pack and provide the confidence I need for strong swimming in any situation. The balance of weight and buoyancy is spot-on, allowing me to snorkel or dive without needing extra weights. Even when walking across rough terrain, they are manageable and comfortable. The adjustable strap is a huge plus, making it effortless to put them on and take them off right in the water. With four decades behind the mask and over 10,000 dives under my belt, I’ve seen a lot of gear, but Force Fin’s durability is unmatched. My journey with these started in the early 1990s with the US Navy SEALs, and the pair issued to me then are still in service today. They’ve outlasted everything from MK 15 and MK 16 semi-rebreathers to open circuit air, heliox, and trimix. I’ve relied on them for demanding ops including OTH transits, OTB insertions, HALO and static-line water jumps, and mine sweeps under the ice in Estonian harbors. From the fjords of Norway and Iceland to 150-kilometer swims in the North Sea, they’ve been constant companions. After more than 30 years of recreational diving with my wife, I’ve only needed to swap the original heel straps for bungee versions and add comfort inserts. Whether paired with dry suit boots, jungle boots, or even sneakers, they’ve never let me down. I don’t give gear recommendations often, but I can confidently say these are the last pair of fins you’ll ever need to buy.

Great selection at Force Fin in Santa Barbara! I’m super happy with the performance of the fins, but I do wish they offered more color options. Black is fine, but having vibrant choices like orange or yellow would make them even better. Still giving it five stars!

I’ve relied on my Slim Fins for swimming, exercise, and Caribbean snorkeling for years, and they’ve been a fantastic fit for almost every spot we’ve visited. Recently, while spending two months in Molokai, I tested them in rougher conditions. After doing well enough on calm shores, we took a dive boat out into 30 mph Tradewinds and two-foot wind-driven seas. The drift and effort required to paddle back to the boat made me realize that while the Slim Fin is excellent for the pool and calm waters, it’s time to pack a ProForce Fin for when the ocean gets choppy. I’ll keep using the Slim Fins for easier conditions and reserve the ProForce for heavier work. Kudos to Force Fin for creating gear that enhances the experience right out of the bag.

The. Only. Fin. Worth. Wearing. I've done more than 12,000 dives as an instructor. My first pair of Force Fins wore out after merely 7,000, yes 7,000 dives. My second pair has gone past the 5,000 dive mark. Once I started with Force Fins, I've never been diving with anything else, nor will I. When I travel, the only scuba gear in my carry-on: my computer and my fins - I can deal with any other gear were mine to be lost, but I won't dive without my Force Fins.

I picked up my gear at a local dive shop back in 1997, and they are still going strong. Easily the best investment I’ve ever made in diving equipment. It’s great to see Force Fin carrying strap kits here, as mine are showing their age. Highly recommend these for both snorkeling and scuba diving. I’d suggest sizing up if you plan to wear booties for cold water dives; I actually wear sandals with mine while snorkeling in warm water.
