Folktribe is an Earth inspired clothing label with a small footprint; plastic free, minimal waste, fairtrade and timeless design. It is the brainchild of Environmentalist sisters, Kellie and Emma who, along with their passion for design, saw a need to change the environmental impacts of the fashion industry. The duo create hand drawn patterns and fabric design which is then printed in Sydney and Bali and fairly sewn in Bali. Their newly released 100% hemp range is fairly sewn in Chiang Mai, Thailand and botanically hand dyed by them right here in Australia. The design philosophy is not trend based but timeless; reflected in garments of quality that will last, resulting in less wasted resources.
