🍣 Flirt Sushi is my go-to place for sushi! The sushi rolls are always fresh and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend trying their spicy tuna roll!

Flirt should NOT be evaluated against "every other" sushi place in Bergen County. If you compare it to Masa or the myriad sushi places in Ridgewood you are comparing apples and oranges.

What Flirt gives you:
1) A flirtatious menu. If you can't handle mild sexual innuendo move on.
2) A creative selection of rolls and apps
3) Cool music
4) A "hip" kind of NYC feel...not the stark "cafeteria" feel of most sushi places
5) Non-Asian male servers in black. Some are better (more knowledgeable/attentive) than others and this can be where Flirt fails sometimes. But you can certainly understand what they are saying to you.
6) A good crowd.
7) A hands on owner.

Flirt has won many "Best of Bergen" awards for a reason.

There are a couple of over-the-top negative reviews of Flirt that clearly have an agenda.

Go to Flirt with an open mind and a great bottle of wine and I bet you will have a great time. If not ask for Marko and I bet he will make things right. :-)

Place looks great but the food is one of the worst sushi experiences we ever had.

This place is not good. I tried it a few times and won't be going back. I ordered take out one time and was 30 minutes late on the pickup, I saw that they had left the raw fish out on the counter the whole time. Plus, they are very expensive. Masa is a much better choice if you are in town and want sushi.
