Firewood Cafe

I have ordered and loved Firewood Cafe pizza in the last three places I have lived in Vancouver :) The pizza, staff and drivers are all awesome!

I ordered 2 pizzas for delivery to the west side! One of the best pizzas I have had in the city! Love it! Also they were very punctual, told me 45 min and they were just that!

Surprisingly good, house baked pizzas right in their stone oven! I LOVE how they are served straight from the metal tray! Friendly and helpful staff always checked on us. Ingredients are fresh, plentiful, and well delivered. -1 star for the chicken which tastes more like deli- chicken breast cold-cut rather than fire grilled chicken breast which is what I would've preferred, but that's just personal preference. The only small thing is the seating is quite limited and not all chairs have backs on them. Delivery is free within a certain distance and pickup orders are 10% off!

I ordered delivery, he was 20 mins late and the pizza was cold. Way over priced! The delivery guy was very rude to me after not leaving a tip and will never order from here again. No Im not leaving my address can i phone you?

This is my local pizza place and since I found it, I never get pizza from anywhere else. It is the most delicious wood oven pizza with amazing toppings and lovely staff. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I can only handle thin crust because the thick crust is very heavy on flour/wheat and doesn't really have any nutrients, making my tummy feel bad. This one though is the thinnest pizza crust I've had so you can really taste the toppings. Love it! Great service too. The guy who was serving was really nice .He even changed our plates for the pizza after we finished the appies!

This is our "go to" spot. Solid, consistent quality with some good variety in toppings and pasta offerings. They're really spot on with their time estimates, too.

I don t know why I hadn t ordered from here sooner considering it s 2 blocks away from me but I m filled with regret that I didn t. This is my new undisputed favourite Pizza place. Their New York pizza is my favourite.

I've been going here for years for takeout pizza, the firewood makes some of the best pizzas in the city, and the best takeout/delivery pizza by far. I highly recommend for a great thin crust.

we have been to the fire wood cafe several times has delicious food and a very good atmospher and friendly staff and a good host for guests.

Tonight, We ordered a medium classic veggie for take out. Staff is very nice but to be honest, pizza was just ok. We thought it tasted like Dominos which is far from what we wanted. Also, for $20, it s quite small. It s our neighborhood so we thought to try it but really weren t impressed. Maybe it s better when you eat in.

Top notch grub, very fair prices and they even use old fashioned in house delivery drivers.

Fantastic from the start. A LOVELY gentleman answered the phone and patiently took my address with detailed instructions. Delivery arrived quickly, LOVELY delivery person. Pizza was absolutely super. I don t live in the neighbourhood, but if I did, I would be ordering often!

Ordered through skip the dishes. Food was very tasty and hot. Great value. Skip driver messed up a bit but the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure we got our food quickly.

I ordered from this restaurant off of skip the dishes and a courier never came (never using skip the dishes again). The worker stayed 40 minutes after closing time waiting for a delivery person that never came. He got a friend to drive the pizza over. You can tell this restaurant has very good customer service. Thank you to Firewood cafe for delivering a pizza that wasnt even their job. Thanks to skip the dishes for starving my family

Got a great takeaway pizza from this spot. If you like a more authentic pizza, check it out. If you like unsophisticated, overly cheesy, oily pizza typical of dominoes etc, you should get some class and eat here instead! I'll definitely be back.

Great pizza with perfect crust and unique taste. Some fusion of northern Italy, Roma style and North American bits here and there. Our favourite place for take out. Friendly staff.

I've only had the seafood fettuccine, which was OK, they only put shrimp no scallops, I did want to call back but atleast the food was tasty so you can't have everything. I'll try more varieties and possibly update in the future. Staff are super nice, parking is very limited, as is seating.

The incrediblely delicious pizza is the best I have ever eatten in Vancouver! I am so surprised that the restaurant still bakes handcrafted pizzas in a real wood-burning oven with full of passion about cooking! When I bite a slice here, i just feel like I was in a beautiful City in Italy. As a foodie, I always tell myself, " This is the quality meal I am looking for! This folks working here are the faces I would love to see! This restaurant is the paradise where I am pretty sure that my time and money are well spent!"

I was craving lasagna instead of pizza this evening and I m glad I went to this gem in my hood. Also, the recommended garlic bread disappeared into bellies quickly. Firewood did not disappoint.

Got $15cdn take out lasagna. Thought it was going to be a big portion but just a big container with a lot of sauce. Should have gone to papas for same portion and cheaper price

i think this was the worst experience,not only do i order every couple days but i also have all my employees calling you guys on the reg. but after today i will not be calling you again. I waited an hour and 10mins before calling to check up on my delivery status and i was told it left so long ago but also had to call back 20 mins later after that because it still hasnt showed up yet, and when i asked to speak to the manager i was denied. i told the lady to cancel my order and i wasnt happy. i run a business myself but this is not the proper way to deal with costumers and it doesnt take 1hour and 42mins to make and deliver 1 cheese pizza and a Cesar salad. you guys should be ashamed of yourself for running a business like this.....

small place but great pizza. if you like hawaiian, try their version, they put almonds on it, but its a nice touch.

Thank you to the fabulous driver who found our visitor's wallet in the street and returned to give it to us. Saved the day. We love the Firewood Cafe on Cambie. The pizza is delicious. Not at all greasy. Lots of choices for vegetarians. We especially like the eggplant.

We have ordered from firewood many times in the past, usually the pizzas are pretty decent. Tonight we decided to try out a pasta as well. We went with the seafood fettuccine. The pasta dish had a very fishy smell and taste to it, very off putting and we couldn't eat the dish.

We called firewood back to inform them of the smell and taste and was passed to a server or manager, not sure, who to me was very rude over the phone.

Vancouver has too many good places to waste my money on one that has rude service.

We ordered a couple of pizzas on National Pizza Day and they did not disappoint. It is great to see that not all businesses have sold out to Skip or Door Dash. The food arrived quick, hot and I left the driver a bigger than usual tip as I didn't get hammered with fees. I've been lucky enough to have pizza in New York and this is the closest you will get in Vancouver. Thin crust with the perfect amount of char on the under-side. Fresh, delicious ingredients. I can't wait to come into the restaurant and have one fresh out of the oven.
