Wow. Best falafel I have had in a while and I eat a lot of falafel. Presentation was beautiful, the fresh pita was unreal. So delicious, really good with a kombucha. Also yummmm beet goats cheese salad! Worth everything - thank you fava.

Great sandwich and salad. Super fresh and unique flavors. Happy to see a new lunch spot in this place and it will become a regular stop for us again.

So far I had the cucumber and tomato salad with feta and almonds and it was delicious! Happy to have a new lunch spot downstairs from work :)

Yummmy! Ordered here on New Years Day when we were laid out. Tried their paneer masala quesadilla...WOW! It tasted better than your usual quesadilla! Ordered paneer masala and chicken tikka masala. Everything was sooo good! They gave a generous amount of cheese in my paneer masala and the dishes came with rice! I can't wait to try more! Delivery came earlier than expected and the driver called to let us know. DELICIOUS!

Excellent! I loved the lamb sandwich as much as I loved the sidewalk life its quirky outdoor area inspires. I left with beet juice stained legs and new neighborhood friends. Fava is wonderful and much-needs makeover to an old neighborhood lunch spot!

Shared the flatbread falafel (with hummus) and flatbread spicy chicken sandwich with my friend. The presentation was bomb and our tastebuds were SHOOK. Sauce, spices/herbs, texture, tender chicken, hummus flavour , SO FRESH... Just do yourself a "FAVA-r" and just GO! We also tried the sesame tahini cookie, a softer warm cookie, and the texture and flavour were grand, and it wasn't too sweet, but the perfect amount of sweet. SO GOOD.

Absolutely delicious. The food tastes so so fresh and the flavours are really unique. We got the salmon, spicy chicken and falafel/hummus side. Definitely going back a lot.

The best Falafel I've had yet - perfect crunch and beautiful green interior. Loved all of the herbs. Vanilla rhubarb pudding was bomb!

Delicious, healthy food, perfectly made to order. Fresh juices, and tantalizing mango lassi. I had the little gem salad with roasted sweet potatoes, toasted sunflower seeds and a fresh cilantro dressing - refreshing and satisfying- while my girlfriend had the lamb flatbread wrap- perfectly complimentary fillings, and satisfying to the point of satiation. 100% would recommend.

An incredible little gem in the heart of Berkeley. The chicken sandwich was so fresh, flavorful, and wrapped in this homemade Flatbread. The falafel are crunchy and fresh. Amazing restaurant!

I've been ordering lunch here every Friday since I've been working from home in 2020, and it's become the highlight of my week. The falafel is my personal favorite but the spicy chicken and the trout rice plate are great, too. Takeout service is efficient and I appreciate that they package everything in compostable paper.

FAVA is everything!! I LOVE the Lamb Flatbreads, fresh Herby Falafels, and rotating soups and salads. Most recently, I had a Golden Squash Soup w/ Jalapeno Yogurt that was divine. Their drinks are also insanely refreshing and reasonably priced.

Fava is nothing short of everything I want and need at lunch time. The menu changes with the seasons, so it always features the absolute freshest ingredients that local farms have to offer. It also means that I never tire of what's on the menu, and there's usually something new and delicious to try. I sincerely appreciate their small menu because that means everything is excellent. It's simple math! The share of time and effort paid to each dish is above and beyond what most places can afford to give. Lastly, Sylvia and Jeremy (the chefs/co-owners) put their heart and soul into every detail of this tiny restaurant and you truly FEEL it when you're there. I always feel so good, and so proud of my community after I eat at Fava!!

Probably the best lunch spot for takeaway on Berkeley. Clean, balanced, flavorful. Amazing falafel. Dope people. Open weds through sat for now. Pleeeeeeeeease more. (Also don't sleep on the specials... Check their IG.)

I love this place! Great food, I always get a wrap and have tried the salads, too. My favorite is the filet mignon wrap (no pickles)- the meat is good, the lettuce crisp, and just everything comes together deliciously. The portions for the main food- wrap or salad- are pretty big, and you can take half home, but the roasted vegetables side I got was sort of small. The fries had a good size serving though. Nice atmosphere inside and with outdoor seating available. There are some small parking spots in the back alley, or you can park in the neighborhood it backs up to. I love setting lunch dates here!

The hummus salad is incredible. Literally amazing. Their falafels are also great, as is their lamb wrap, and their sesame chocolate chip cookies are divine.
