At Farm Adventure, we believe that spending time outdoors is essential for our physical and mental wellbeing. That's why we've created a range of outdoor activities that are not only fun but also educational. Our farm is home to a variety of animals, including cows, pigs, sheep, chickens and ducks. You'll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these animals as you learn about their care and feeding.
One of our most popular activities is the farm tour. Led by one of our experienced guides, you'll explore the farm while learning about its history and operations. You'll see how we grow crops such as wheat, barley and oats which are used in animal feed or sold locally as flour or porridge oats.
For those who want more hands-on experience with the animals on the farm can try their hand at milking cows or bottle-feeding lambs during lambing season (February-April). We also offer egg collecting where visitors can collect eggs from our free-range hens which they can take home with them.
If you're looking for something more adventurous then try out our quad bike safari where visitors will be taken on an off-road adventure through fields & woodland trails around the farm while enjoying stunning views over Northumberland countryside.
We also offer archery lessons where visitors can learn how to shoot arrows like Robin Hood! This activity is suitable for all ages (minimum age 8 years) & abilities so it’s perfect if you’re looking to try something new!
For those who want some friendly competition among friends or colleagues then why not try out our team building activities? We offer a range of activities such as tug-of-war, obstacle courses and treasure hunts which are perfect for team building events.
