Ewz: Leading the Way in Renewable Energy and Intelligent Supply Systems
Ewz is a Swiss energy service provider that has been leading the way in renewable energy and intelligent supply systems for many years. As one of the most innovative companies in Switzerland, Ewz has invested heavily in renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, hydroelectricity, and biomass to provide sustainable solutions for its customers.
With a focus on sustainability and innovation, Ewz is committed to providing its customers with reliable and affordable energy solutions that are environmentally friendly. The company's mission is to create a sustainable future by reducing carbon emissions through the use of renewable energy sources.
Ewz offers a wide range of services including electricity supply, district heating, gas supply, water supply as well as telecommunications services. The company's electricity comes from 100% renewable sources such as wind power plants located both within Switzerland and abroad. This ensures that customers receive clean electricity while also supporting local communities.
In addition to providing clean energy solutions for its customers, Ewz also invests heavily in research and development to improve its products and services continually. The company's team of experts works tirelessly to develop new technologies that can help reduce carbon emissions further while also improving efficiency.
One of Ewz's most significant achievements was the construction of Switzerland's largest photovoltaic plant located on the roof of Zurich Airport. This plant produces enough electricity to power over 2'000 households annually while reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 1'500 tons per year.
Another notable project undertaken by Ewz was the construction of an underground thermal storage facility at Zurich West district heating network. This facility stores excess heat generated during summer months which can then be used during winter months when demand for heating is high.
Ewz has received numerous awards over the years for its commitment to sustainability and innovation. In 2019 alone, it won several awards including "Best Energy Supplier" and "Best Renewable Energy Provider" at the Swiss Energy Awards.
In conclusion, Ewz is a leading energy service provider in Switzerland that has been at the forefront of renewable energy and intelligent supply systems for many years. The company's commitment to sustainability and innovation has made it one of the most innovative companies in Switzerland. With a focus on providing reliable, affordable, and environmentally friendly energy solutions, Ewz is helping to create a sustainable future for all.
