Total Waste of time. If you aren't in a major city. 3 Quotes? More like 1 quote from a single dodgey Solar Company. Steer clear would be my advice. Edit: have been asked to change my rating. Not a chance. I stand by my opinion. It was a waste if my time.

I completed details for quotes. Was told to expect 3 businesses to call. I have received 6 so far, of which 3 sounded like overseas call centre scammers.
Either Energy Matters has been hacked, or they give your information to whoever wants it.
I am absolutely disgusted. I am close to reporting this to the Energy Ombudsman and Dept of Fair Trading.

Really interesting newsletters and website/business that collects together best-practice knowledge, services and support for energy efficient initiatives including solar, but with the added benefit of working with a range of like minded charities here in Australia and our Pacific island neighbours.

NOT HAPPY - Unfortunately the sales talk and actual varies significantly. Over 6 months system installed still not working as it should. The promised 5kw/hr return to grit payment was reduced after agreement to 3.5kw and now is likely to be 1.5kw. Bear in mind that i still haven't seen a cent, but returning to grit most of the power produced. EM Matters sales algorithm doesn't represent actual as I am still paying the same p/m as before solar. Unhappy customer

Recently an Energy Matters salesperson promised me a 70c Feed in Tariff in an energy market comparison. I was incredulous and spent at least 1/2 an hour of my time and switched energy providers purely based on that promise. After further investigations of my own, turns out I was not eligible for that rate, but the same rate as my existing supplier. I later cancelled the switch and the Energy Matters salesmen queried if there were other providers we could explore, all for a commission I m guessing. Unconscionable. I was gobsmacked to see from their website that they market themselves as ethical suppliers helping people in developing nations. Hope others have not been caught out similarly.
