Edgemere Farm

Kids loved picking the carrots fresh out of the ground then eating it (after washing) and feeding the green part to the chickens.

This place is amazing- I went out to see where my teen Oisin is being a working man in the field, and was treated to astoundingly delicious grilled eggplant and kale by grillmaster and farmer Matt. He picked the eggplant from the vine, rinsed, chopped and grilled with a little Balsamic, salt and happy secrets. Divine. Go on and pick up your fresh grown veggies from their weekend Edgemere farm stand and buy tickets to tonights fundraising dinner! You will be so glad that you did. :)

It's really great to be able to get locally grown produce in Rockaway. The fruits and veggies are much fresher than you would get at a larger grocery store.
The staff is really nice. They are knowledge about the food, where it came from and how to best prepare them. The woman who helped me today gave my 2 year old son some goodies... A very nice gesture!
Will be a regular there

Actually this is Far Rock Farm run by youths in the community. Great place to visit for farm fresh produce, organic eggs and farm tour for children. Wonderful group of people at Far Rock Farm.
