We design and build natural, stimulating ‘habitats’ and playgrounds that invite children to play freely in a world of their own imagination.
Earth Wrights: Designing and Building Natural Playgrounds for Children
Earth Wrights is a company that specializes in designing and building natural playgrounds for children. The company was founded with the belief that children should be able to play freely in a world of their own imagination, without being confined to traditional playground equipment. Earth Wrights creates unique, stimulating ‘habitats’ that invite children to explore and interact with nature.
The team at Earth Wrights is made up of experienced designers, builders, and educators who are passionate about creating outdoor spaces that promote creativity, physical activity, and environmental awareness. They work closely with clients to understand their needs and vision for the space, then use their expertise to design a custom playground that meets those requirements.
One of the key features of an Earth Wrights playground is its use of natural materials. Instead of plastic or metal equipment commonly found on traditional playgrounds, Earth Wrights uses wood, stone, sand, water features and other natural elements to create an immersive environment where children can engage all their senses while playing.
Another important aspect of an Earth Wrights playground is its focus on sustainability. The company strives to minimize its impact on the environment by using locally sourced materials whenever possible and designing structures that blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
In addition to designing and building custom play spaces for schools or communities around the world; they also offer workshops where participants can learn how to build natural structures themselves using sustainable techniques such as cobbing (a technique used in earthen construction).
Earth Wright's mission is not only about creating beautiful outdoor spaces but also about promoting healthy lifestyles among children by encouraging them towards physical activity through playtime outdoors which has been proven beneficial both physically & mentally.
Overall if you're looking for a unique way to create an engaging outdoor space for your community or school; look no further than Earth wrights! Their team will work closely with you every step along the way from initial consultation to final installation to ensure that your playground is not only beautiful but also functional, sustainable and most importantly, fun for children of all ages.
