I want to start off by saying the course itself is fun and very well maintained. That's why I gave two stars. I had noticed the reviews about the clubhouse and staff were bad but the reviews I saw were from a few years ago. Has to be better by now. Right? Boy was I wrong!!!!! The woman in the clubhouse has terrible customer service skills and a horrible attitude!!!!! She seems very inconvenienced to be asked to do more than just hitting a button on a computer. I had three people in my group and they ALL noticed her bad attitude. As I was getting ready to leave this review I noticed that a similar review had been left three weeks ago. The response back said that this issue would be addressed.... From what I can tell, it definitely has not been. As long as she is still working there I will not return back or recommend this course to anyone.

(In response to eagle trace)

I had an 8:48 tee time on Aug 24th. My negative experience happened in the clubhouse.

Fun public course, prices fair during regular season and off season prices they have great deals. It's a well kept and maintained with a few difficult holes and some easier for the golfers just starting, a good mix. Employees from cart boys to management all helpful and courteous. Even after having one of those off days golfing the bartender/assnt manager Kellee will cheer you up with a cold beer and her delightful smile and cheerful attitude!

Great course and we got to tee off 10 minutes early! Erin at the bar let my friend borrow her clubs as the course isn t allowing club sharing at the time even when living in the same household. I did call the day before to ask about rentals and someone told me she could rent for $8 but I m not sure what happened but luckily Erin was nice enough to lend her hers!!

I was torn between giving it 2 or 3 stars.

First, our tee time was at 9:37 am. We didn't tee off until about 10:00 am because of a "frost" delay. The real delay most likely came from scheduling tee times 7 minutes apart. There were about 4 groups waiting on the tee box by about 9:30 am.

The course itself is in pretty good shape, except for the greens. The greens had just been aerated, which is fine, but looked like they then took buckets of sand from the bunkers and covered the greens with it. Made it nearly impossible to put any sort of spin on the ball.

It took just under 3 hours to finish the front nine. With the delay, we figured we would get some food before making the turn. It took about 15-20 minutes to get 4 breakfast burritos which slowed our round even more.

The layout isn't bad except for some cases. To get to hole 10's green, you have to cut through the fairway of the 17th hole so keep your head on a swivel.

For $45, I would have expected a much better experience. It took about 5 hours and 30 minutes to finish the round. The food was good but be prepared to wait a very long time. The course was decently challenging but for that $45 no matter what time of day you play, the course should be in much better shape, including the parking lot which is in horrible shape.

Much better places to play for $45.

This is a good, solid, short golf course. The practice area next to #1's tee is good. This is a very walkable course. There are some tricky holes like #7 (water near the green), #12, #13 (from the back tee), and especially #18 (know the layout, especially if it's windy). Don't expect country club conditions. There'll be some lies even in the fairway that will challenge you.

Eagle Trace Golf Course is a fun little course. Good for practice and never a wait. They are tucked back in a neighborhood which keeps the staff and players friendly and accommodating. There is no pressure to play a fast-paced game. Clubhouse is okay, fair food and drink. Carts are always available and the price is fair. Don't expect a PGA style coarse, just come to have fun. Go online they often offer last minute deals.

The course itself was decent. However, when I arrived for our 1230 tee time, there was a huge line of carts waiting for the first tee box. Come to find out there was frost that morning. Instead of canceling/refunding tee times for those affected during that time, they delayed everyone by 45 minutes. The pace of play was really slow as a result. And we didn t tee off until 30 min after our scheduled tee time. All in all, 18 holes took almost 6 hours. Eagle Trace really needs to make better choices next time.

Beautiful, walkable, tree lined & challenging golf course but could use some sprucing up. For example the fairways & greens could use help with more water & fertilizer to repair the bald spots. Even though it's fall when I'm playing, I've recently played other metro golf courses in the fall that were in much better shape. The bargain price makes this course still worth playing with it's pretty fall leaves. Also why was the Pro Shop closed when other golf course Pro Shops are open PS: bring extra golf balls for the fall leaves & water found on the course.

Eagle Trace is a great practice course but it is a little too expensive for the facilities and overall beauty. I can take my 4 year old with me without any issues. The whole state is on fire and the temp over 100 every day so lets cut them a break for brown grass. The greens are always perfect, which is necessary when coming in thin. You can pretty much bring anything in without issue, don't need a set of clubs per player. It's an easy-going, relaxed place to practice and play.

Its a weird course, the front 9 is fun and not to difficult, however the back 9 is just dumb. Way to tight and basically cant hit driver on any of the holes. I get it, its an older course, but if you want to have fun there are many other options in the same price range around Denver. I won't be back.

Some A-Hole golpher drove a ball right through my kitchen window and neither he (chicken, didnt have the guts to fess up) or club management would do anything about it. It took more than 2 days to clean up all the glass spread throughout the house. I will never golf there!

Been playing here for years, really like the course and it's been getting nicer over the last 2 years for sure! Playing well right now, greens are best I've seen in a while. Usually walk or play the deals because price could be a little less for what you get, especially with all the competition on GolfNow here in the Front Range.......which they removed themselves from?!?!?!

Range is poor but other than that I love this place.

i must say this is a amanzingly kept course. greens were in great shape. my poor rating is based solely on the service and clubhouse staff. The starter was extremely rude . as i was trying to check in, i interrupted a obvious personal conversation with a mens club member. the starter then informed me to wait as he continued his personal conversation. i then moved to the extremely small and dissapointing restaurant, where i waited patiently at the bar to order food. i could hear more personal conversation in the kitchen. i was forced to peep in the kitchen snd say hello, only to be told ill be right with you. she then appeared and said kitchen wasnt open yet. it was 8:20am. if it werent for the great course, i would never ever spend my money to play here. im not a huge fan of reviews, but clearly the previous reports of horrible customer service were spot on. Shame because the course was fun.

First, I have to say that the staff was very friendly and helpful, the receive top marks. The course overall is very overpriced. Overpriced doesn't even begin to describe the experience that we had. The course has not been watered in weeks, so dry patches run rampant. There is a cart path only rule in force - not even a 90 degree rule. Absolutely terrible for play, which backs everyone else up. Had to wait at every single hole for the day after the first hole. It's not the player's fault, I play a lot slower when I have to walk to and from the cart path after every shot. What is most frustrating is that for the price we paid (my fault for assuming that it was reasonable and not asking ahead of time), we could have played Legacy Ridge for a few bucks more.
