Dyne.org is a non-profit organisation curating the international heritage of hacker culture since 1999. The organisation also produces free and open source software and operating systems that are of public interest. Supported by the work of hundreds of volunteers across the world, since the year 2013 it also works as an European research organisation after its first contract in the framework of "Citizen Awareness Platforms for Social Innovation" with the D-CENT project.
