Nice introduction but the 2-hour tour (Saturday) lasted only 1 hour

De brouwerij biedt een interessante rondleiding aan op hun terrein, het bijhorende cafe is een ideale plaats om uw taptechnieken bij te schaven en het hele aanbod van Duvel Moortgat te degusteren.
Got a tour in French with our family from France. Everything is explained in detail by an expert guide. The beer itself is so good, nice soft foam and fine bubbles, wonderfully round and the alcohol does not taste so be careful.
Leuke rondleiding, goed verhaal helemaal af. Aanrader!
Worth visiting and during the tour you also learn many new things, top guide (Matthijs).
The best cook I ever visited. warmly recommended. Also a great souvenir store. Arrival must be arranged in advance
Superb brewery tour. Fair price. Good guide - very knowledgeable & informative. A few tipples at the end!
It would be nice to publish the opening hours of the shop on the website.
We drove 150km for nothing!
Nice tour, but there is not too much to see of the process.
It is also interesting to go on a weekday because the bottling plant is then working.
Jammer dat de fabriek niet te bezichtigen was tijdens Duvel on tour 2020
PROFICIAT BREWERY MOORTGAT WITH THE TASTY BEER VEDETT 2.9%, EARLY ENOUGH TO GET anywhere.
Awesome brewery and knowledgeable and enthusiastic personnel. This brewery has a bar where you can order all their drinks and also has a gift shop with tons of Duvel branded goodies.
For the fans it is recommended to visit the brewery. Friendly and helpful staff who understand their job well. Everything is well explained during the tour.
I got a special VIP tour of the brewery with our zythology class so I can't comment on the standard tours, but Duvel is such a big name in the Belgian Beer Scene and the brewery is well worth a visit!
Excellent place to visit if you're a beer lover, interesting tour teaches you a lot about Duvel history and brewing method. Brigitte, our guide, was lovely and welcoming, offered us at the end of the tour some nice beer tasting, making sure we will try some we haven't taste before. Oh and we received nice present!
Such dedication to quality. And such a beautiful place.
Only visited the cafe, beautiful setting with self-service at the counter, sporadically cleared by the staff. It is a pity that there are no alcohol percentages on the beer card. A missed opportunity. Finding a parking space is also an art there!
We went there for our wedding pictures and actually half way through our wedding shoot, we were more interesting in brewing process, so definitely a to do! And they gave us free drinks, so in the end we stressed our wedding photographer for not keeping the schedule. Go sit in one of the old delivery cars
Rarely laughed with the humor of the guide! Beautiful tour and good information and of course a tasting or two, three! Really worth experiencing, as an occasional duvel drinker I am very happy to have experienced this!
The selection might not be the best but the staff were really nice and friendly
In Quebec, I bought a beer for $ 19
but I had never tasted anything like it.
Very good beer!
There is no promotion in the Delhaize Boortmeerbeek and van Duvel drinker
Awesome beer, like champagne
good
Great place to visit. Friendly people, hospitable patio area for after the tour. And, they make a range of great beers. Call well in advance to make sure you have a spot. We took a group of 18, and the tour guide was delightful.
Today I received my order with the 'Barrel Aged batch 4' and my own Duvel glass. Allow another 4 months to mature and then make a soldier.
The best brewery in Belgium.
One DUVEL a day, keeps the doctor away.
Great Brewery
A wonderful tour at Duvel.
The best memories that have stayed with me are the nocturnal passages through the company on the occasion of numerous editions of the Dodentocht v / Bornem known in the region and far beyond! Man, what could a (plastic cup with) Duvel taste like! Otherwise of course, but then just a little bit more !!
A very casual and cool place to enjoy a fresh Duvel, have a bite or enjoy piano music. Brewery tours are provided and there is a souvenir shop, too.
Very nice tour got a funny and hospitable man. Part of the site is clearly laid out especially for the tours, as is done by several breweries nowadays, but the original process is still clearly visible. Other breweries owned by Duvel Moortgat are also briefly discussed during the tour, and a nice side effect of this is that the beers from these breweries can also be enjoyed on the terrace.
Recently been here during the Great Breweries Marathon. Definitely recommended, you get a nice walk in the area, 2 brewery visits and 3 tasty beers! Nice atmosphere full of ambiance and very well organized.

Welcome to the world of Duvel Moortgat, a Belgian brewery that has been producing some of the finest beers in the world for over 150 years. With a rich history and unique brewing process, Duvel Moortgat has become a household name among beer enthusiasts worldwide.
Founded in 1871 by Jan-Leonard Moortgat, Duvel Moortgat started as a small family-owned brewery in Breendonk, Belgium. Over time, the company grew and expanded its operations to include several other breweries across Europe and North America.
One of the things that sets Duvel Moortgat apart from other breweries is its unique brewing process. The company uses only high-quality ingredients such as malted barley, hops, and yeast to create its signature beers. The brewing process involves several steps including mashing, boiling, fermentation and conditioning which are all carefully monitored to ensure consistency in taste and quality.
Duvel Moortgat's flagship beer is the famous "Duvel" which means "devil" in Flemish. This strong golden ale with an ABV of 8.5% is known for its complex flavor profile that includes notes of citrus fruit, spices and hops. It's no wonder why it has won numerous awards over the years including gold medals at both World Beer Cup and European Beer Star competitions.
Apart from Duvel beer itself there are many other brands under this umbrella like La Chouffe (Belgium), Vedett (Belgium), Maredsous (Belgium), Liefmans (Belgium) Boulevard Brewing Company (USA) Firestone Walker Brewing Company(USA).
In addition to producing some of the best beers in the world, Duvel Moortgat also places great emphasis on sustainability practices throughout their operations. They have implemented various initiatives such as reducing water usage during production processes or using renewable energy sources like solar panels on their facilities.
The company also takes pride in supporting local communities through various social responsibility programs such as sponsoring cultural events or donating funds towards environmental conservation efforts.
Overall if you're looking for high-quality Belgian beer with rich history behind it then look no further than Duvel Moortgat! Their commitment to quality ingredients combined with sustainable practices make them stand out among competitors while their unique brewing process ensures consistent taste every time you enjoy one of their delicious brews!
