My organization just had a terrible experience dealing with DTiQ. We are a national restaurant chain with over 16 locations. We did a trial at two locations, one of our locations did not work out as is common in the restaurant industry. In order to do business with DTiQ, the customer, has to sign a 3 three agreement. In an effort to not incur additional losses we decided to transfer the contract to a new business. We reached out to DTiQ, and provided them all the information for the new install in July '19. They ignored my project for weeks, and after continual emails we still had no movement on the new install. We even paid to have the equipment removed from the original location, which never got completed. Not until today did one of their VP's, John reach out to try an resolve the issue. Instead of resolving the issue he insisted I pay additional money to transfer the service to a new site, all the while we have been paying for the service and receiving nothing in return. John seemed to care less about doing business with us, and the financial impact the cost of their service has on our restaurant. As a service industry company, we try to work with organizations that show us respect, and own up to their mistakes. DTiQ provides terrible customer service, however they will continue to tell you that you just need more training on the product. The product functionality does not equate to the premium costs they are charging for it.
I am an owner of a chain of restaurants based out of Miami FL. While their product is up to par, this company is the absolute worst run company I have ever encountered in all my years in the service business. We were mailed our hardware over two months ago and we have yet to actually get our system running. They mistook my business for another larger chain in various emails when we first started with them and I just kept getting worse from there. They apparently thought i was running toast when I am an Running Aloha (didn t ask), unplugged cat6 cables from my internal firewall which caused terminals to not work properly and then couldn t connect to their own system because they didn t know which port they were connected to. Service was so subpar that I emailed them and told them to pick their equipment up immediately. Came to an agreement that we would receive the first 3 months of service for feee but then we received two monthly bills in the mail. They need to clean up their service and communication or they will be quickly out of business.
