In contrast, the Haku seals directly to the roof, creating its own gutter effect, and held up perfectly against 34-40 mph winds on the Baja coast. Its shock strap system keeps tension steady as the vehicle shifts, protecting the mounts, which are surprisingly easy to install and extremely robust. My only tips: it takes a bit of practice to slide the tarp into the rail, and having a second person helps when assembling the poles. Highly recommended for any overlander or someone needing all-weather protection.
