Discover Gymnastics: A Premier Gymnastics Training Center
Discover Gymnastics is a premier gymnastics training center located in Houston, Texas. The company was founded in 1991 by Steve and Kellie Shepard, who are both former gymnasts and coaches. Since then, Discover Gymnastics has become one of the most respected and successful gymnastics programs in the country.
At Discover Gymnastics, we believe that every child has the potential to be a great athlete. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow through the sport of gymnastics. We offer classes for children of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes.
Our state-of-the-art facility features over 20,000 square feet of space dedicated to gymnastics training. We have equipment for all four Olympic events (vault, bars, beam, floor), as well as trampolines, foam pits, and other specialized equipment for tumbling and acrobatics.
Our coaching staff is made up of experienced professionals who are passionate about teaching gymnastics. All of our coaches are certified by USA Gymnastics (the national governing body for the sport) and undergo regular training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and safety protocols.
In addition to our regular classes, we also offer competitive teams for girls' artistic gymnastics (Levels 2-10) as well as boys' artistic gymnastics (Levels 4-10). Our teams have consistently placed at regional and national competitions over the years.
At Discover Gymnastics, we believe that success in sports goes hand-in-hand with character development. That's why we emphasize values like hard work, perseverance, respect for others, teamwork,and sportsmanship in all aspects of our program.
We also understand that parents play an important role in their child's athletic development. That's why we strive to maintain open communication with parents through regular progress reportsand parent-teacher conferences.
