The world is changing rapidly – politically, economically and socially. New power centers are emerging while old ones are declining. In this context of shifting global dynamics Diplo provides insights into how these changes affect international relations through its research projects such as GIP Digital Watch Observatory which monitors developments related to Internet governance (IG) & digital policy worldwide.

Diplo also focuses on issues that are not traditionally part of diplomatic agendas but have become increasingly important due to technological advancements such as cybersecurity or data protection laws . For example , their Cybersecurity Capacity Building Program helps countries develop their national cybersecurity strategies by providing training courses for government officials .
New Tools for Diplomacy
Finally , Diplo works towards developing new tools for diplomats to use in their work . One such tool is ‘Language Cloud’ which uses artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to analyze large amounts of text data from social media platforms or news articles .
