Digna Biotech is a spin-off of the Centre for Applied Medical Research (CIMA) of the University of Navarra in Pamplona, jointly owned by the Foundation for Applied Medical Research (Fundacian para la Investigacian Macdica Aplicada, FIMA), and a consortium of private investors. Among the latter are some of the mayor corporations of Spain, incluiding major institutions of Navarra such as University of Navarra, Caja Navarra, Caja Rural de Navarra, and the Government of Navarra through its investment arm SODENA.
