First, under System > System update > Permitted networks, I had to switch the setting to "Unmetered." My data usage spiked during the first update because I wasn’t on Wi-Fi. Second, I changed the Preferred network type in Network & internet > SIMs to LTE. This seems to save battery while still falling back to 5G when needed. As a light user, I’m getting about four to five days of battery life. I’m also a big fan of F-Droid; all the apps I’ve installed from there are working well so far.
