Dhaka Bar Association

The holy place of my younger career is the Dhaka Lawyers Association.

is a great place. Recently the whole place has became air conditioned. Then there is a seperate common room for the women.At that place they can do many things like they can take rest and pray namaz.etc.

This is my work place. I am Advocate Aymul Hasan (Shuman), Judge Court, Dhaka.

I am greatful to Almighty for being member of this association

Lawyers have sitting arrangements along with their case files, can give advice to their respective parties.

Dhaka Bar association is the largest bar association in the south Asian country's.near about 20000 members of this association.

The Dhaka Bar Association is Bangladesh's largest and oldest bar. There are more than twenty-three thousand lawyers. A ten-storey building with modern facilities. Besides, another building is being built. Decorated libraries have a game room, hall. There are facilities for lawyers. But lawyers do not have their own transportation.

Dhaka Bar Association is a organization of lawyers who practice as an Advocate in Dhaka Judge Court. It has all sorts of modern facilities like library, conference room, office, rest room, restaurant etc.

Dhaka Bar Association is one of the largest bar association in the world, where practice more than 23000 Lawyers. I think it is a important place in Bangladesh.

it's a very gathering place among Dhaka city. thousands of advocates & lawers sit here to gossip with their clients. some of them have their personal rooms to share opinions with their clients. there is a small snacks corner & a beautiful restaurent at the ground floor. quality of foods & services r good. price r also cheap. all sorts of people who comes for several cases, take their launches here as well as with the lawers. so most of the time people need to stand by to take the serial & sit for the launches. so the restaurent need more space to spread out. the lawers also need more floors & spaces to sit for rest & gossip. there r some ancient buildings in this locality. one is situtuated just beside the bar association. the lawers must need to be more honest & sincere to give good service. at this they can get more respect from the people.

The Bangladesh Bar Council is a Statutory Autonomous Body of the Government constituted under the Bangladesh Legal Practitioners and Bar Council Order, 1972 (President s Order No. 46 of 1972). It consists of 15 (fifteen) Members of whom the Attorney General for Bangladesh is one and is the Chairman ex-officio. Others are elected by Advocates for a term of 3 (three) years from amongst themselves, of whom seven from General Seats and seven from seven Zonal or Group Seats. The elected members, in their first meeting, elected from amongst themselves a vice-chairman and different standing Committees, viz- Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Legal Education Committee etc. There is no membership in the Bangladesh Bar Council. Bangladesh Bar Council is a licensing & regularity body for all Advocates of Bangladesh.

This bar association fail on the road and play the role to get the legal rights as faster. The role of Dhaka Bar Association at the period of "Vasa Andolon" in the year of 1952 A.D. was various glorious. Except this, the learned members of this association participated in the ware of 1971 A.D. as freedom-fighter which are supported by the learned advocates of this association were given veto as firstly safe from the black hands of the country and the hands from the enemy of the abroad.
