Design & Source Labs: A Creative Residency Program for Sustainable Thinking
Design & Source Labs is a unique residency program that offers creative minds the opportunity to nurture their career growth and develop sustainable thinking. The program is designed to provide participants with an immersive experience that combines design, innovation, and sustainability.
The six-month residency program is open to individuals from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about creating innovative solutions that address real-world challenges. Participants will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, mentorship from industry experts, and a supportive community of like-minded individuals.
At Design & Source Labs, we believe in the power of collaboration and interdisciplinary thinking. Our program brings together designers, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and other professionals who share a common goal: to create sustainable solutions that benefit society as a whole.
Our curriculum is designed to be hands-on and project-based. Participants will work on real-world projects that challenge them to think creatively while also considering the environmental impact of their designs. They will learn about sustainable materials sourcing, circular economy principles, life cycle assessment tools and more.
In addition to project work, participants will attend workshops led by industry experts on topics such as biomimicry design principles or cradle-to-cradle certification process. They will also have access to our extensive network of partners in academia and industry who can provide guidance on specific projects or career development opportunities.
At Design & Source Labs we believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome regardless of their background or experience level. We encourage diversity in all its forms because we know it leads to better outcomes for everyone involved.
Our alumni have gone on to pursue successful careers in various fields including product design engineering , architecture , fashion design , industrial design etc . Many have also started their own businesses based on the skills they developed during their time at Design & Source Labs .
