Very limited key choices, but also very affordable.

Professional, courteous service for a fraction of the price the dealership would have charged to make a transponder key for my 2008 Toyota Sienna. They also programmed a fob I got on Amazon. They only charged $10 for this service and $65 for the key (Which would have been about $170 at Ressler for the key alone).

After a bad encounter with a group that had been renting space from me they were asked to leave. They decided to steal some equipment from my gym I so had to get door locks changed ASAP. James took care of everything super fast and, as a bonus, the door even closes better than it had before!! Highly recommend!!

The guys there are just great! Not a lot of these shops left and it s great we have one here in Bozeman. I had a keyless lock core for my Thule ski rack and they made me one in a matter of minutes. Highly recommend.

Really helped as I needed my wallet which was in the saddlebag. They prioritized my situation and were extremely fair in their pricing!

Being locked out of your home or vehicle (in my case) can be a very stressful event! But Gary at Dave's Lock and Key, gave me clear and complete instructions to help me get all the information I needed to help me get unstuck. They were very friendly and even had some crackers for my daughter. I was there to have them do a very small favor, just modify a key that had been cut 90% but not all the way. I hoped they would do it for free because it was such a small thing. But they charged me the full price as if I was getting the whole key cut

Good service, but required a drivers license and birthday when performing less than $150 work at an established business. When I told them that was an offensive policy, they told us to use someone else. I certainly do intend to use someone else.

We have a towing business so we get keys made a lot. I have had countless keys from other key shops around town (won't mention names) not work. I have never had this happen from keys cut at Dave's Key Shop! Recently, I had 5 keys cut at another shop ( I had sent an employee to get the keys cut and he decided on his own that he would go to the closer shop after I told him to only use Dave's) well.... 5 out of 5 keys did not work our locks! I sent him up to Dave's and all 5 worked perfect on their cuts! Don't waste your time and money going any place else! Dave's will do it right the first time!

Friendly staff, and if you need your key cut correctly so that it actually works as good as the original, I do believe this is the only shop in town that I have faith in to do it. Keyon and Ace just don't get it down well.
