Petalmar CORP

I ran into some trouble getting the flow rate and TDS levels up to spec on my membrane. Initial cleaning with the Katadyn Alkaline Membrane Cleaner helped a bit, but the pressure was still building up too much. To fix it, I followed up with the Katadyn Acid Membrane Cleaner, letting it soak for five hours as directed, then repeated the alkaline cleaning step. After a final flush with HRO water, the performance was excellent—great flow, proper PPM, and no pressure issues. I finished by applying the Katadyn Membrane Preservative for temporary storage. I’m looking forward to testing it out again soon once I can head out of the San Diego harbor.
