Food is good pub fare....service leaves a lot to be desired.

Good selection of food, and it's always fresh and piping hot (big plus). Service is a little slow.

For me this place is just to loud. The seafood is very good, however I am not a fan of there Vern wings the sauce is just not what I enjoy, the fried chicken (breaded wings) are cooked perfectly but have no flavor. I will definitely give it a second try for seafood only

My grandfather and I visited yesterday, he got the french onion soup which he loves and a salad. I went with the turkey club, it was tasty. Our server Mike was friendly and attentive.

Well rounded menu, obviously a big seafood place. Typical pub food is just as amazing as their seafood, and well priced. It's a little tight but they have a few tables outside too with a large tv. Cool atmosphere and very friendly staff, can't wait to visit again. There is usually some parking on linden ave next to the park.

Always enjoy my meal there. Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly neighborhood bar.

Excellent food! Great selection. Fresh seafood including raw bar. Parking can be a challenge. We'll be back.

Just recently went here with my wife and order hot wings and parmesan garlic wings. We liked it so much a few days later we ordered take out of the same thing surprising the food tasted and looked just as good the first day we ate there. Only suggestion I would make is to include blue cheese with the order of wings and not have it as an add on option. The waitresses are very attentive and friendly. I like the separation between the bar and dining area. A really nice bar to go to in the northeast.

Dagwood's is the best neighborhood bar. I personally never grew up near this bar but through visiting the family we end up at this bar every year for the holidays. The food is out of this world good and drinks are always cheap. Best part is it can be used for private parties.

I ve been here a few times and really like the food, so far. However, the last few times the melted American cheese has been as liquified as milky water and when I mentioned it to the servers each time they caught an attitude and said that they have no way of controlling how the cook makes it. Sometimes it s melted cheese and sometimes it s like water. Today we asked for french fries w our platters instead of potato chips and the server said it would be an up charge of $1.50 each, I said that is fine, then we received the fries, it seemed like they split one order between three platters. Once again I mentioned it to the waitress and she caught an attitude. I felt like I had to apologize for asking for the cheese and fries I paid for. Honestly the waitress had a bad disposition since she started to serve us. I always tip 20% and did today too, although it was not earned whatsoever. What would be nice is for management to really get involved and not allow or condone short cuts or waitresses who lack customer service skills. These issues are easy fixes and should be rectified.

The food is amazing the service is excellent and the prices are great definitely gone to be a regular now always looking for great places and I found it 5 stars from me

Food is always good. Never any complaints, but very small dining area. Getting bumped while eating is too be expected and I'd rather not hear the tables next to me conversations. I like to eat at my own pace not rushed so they can get the next person seated. It felt like they kept clearing my table every few seconds. Again food was good and waitress was attentive .

I absolutely LOVE Dagwoods, the food the atmosphere, the staff are amazing. You definitely won't be disappointed. Everything on the menu is a must try.

My son and i had the special Colossal Crab cakes they were AMAZING Soup & salad bar Tremendous Chicken rice soup was home made! Wife had blacked tuna bites she was very happy Daughter had boneless Vern Wings...DeeeLish Joe our waiter was Strong and very helpful We will be Backkkkk

It's a good place to go for a nice lunch with your co workers or even grab a cool drink alone. It definitely has that neighborhood vibe to it and the staff is generally cool. For a quick bite in the northeast I would definitely recommend this place

The servers were nice and although kitchen was busy since outside dining was full and lively, I had a great time. The Thai style calamari and seafood fries from appetizer menu were divine. Dessert was some of the best bread pudding I've had. Will try it again, wonder of dine-in experience is as pleasant.

A great family run business. The pub seems to be clean and well maintained. A great selection of beer with some rare beer options. The food was surprisingly good with huge portion sizes and decently priced. Staff was friendly and attentive. A great place for food and/or drinks

We ordered yesterday for an 11:30am pick up and they weren't ready till 12:15pm

Food is good. The wait was riduculous. People came in after me and were offered a table outside as i stood there for 20 minutes wilaiting for a table. I ordered crab legs and mussles. I waited 55 minutes for overcooked mussles (rubbery) and undercooked snow crab legs ( almost pink not red in color). Both itmes literally take 5 minutes to cook. I was there 3 other times and food was awsome. Wait was long but not ridiculous like this time. Not sure if i can ever go back. Waitress didnt seem to offer any explantion or really care that we were not heppy.

This place is ok. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and it tasted like watery chef boyardee and the onion rings smelled fishy. I'd rather go here for drinks than the food.
