Patent pending e-commerce platform for trading, buying and selling unused acceptance letters to deferred applicants on a college’s wait list.
Colleges across America have limited classroom seats for an incoming class. Admissions offices create wait lists to assure capacity since not all students awarded admission will attend. When a student chooses a school out of several they’ve been accepted at other schools now have openings. Students monetize their acceptance letters and provide those on the wait list with the opportunity to attend. Colleges receive minute-to-minute enrollment pictures and can notify deferred applicants sooner rather than later.
Service is free to colleges. Students remit a nominal fee to trade, place and bid on acceptance letters. To see if a school they’ve applied at is on cya4edu, students should contact the school. Final admittance resides with Admissions Offices.
