Arranged to see a Volvo XC-60 and the meeting began with the shaking of hands and usual pleasantries but descended in to farce when we asked for a test drive.
The owner said 'there's no point unless you're buying it' and seemed very reluctant to allow us to test drive.
He then asked about a part-ex and seemed very put out and upset that we hadn't come in the vehicle we would possibly part-ex. No one should but a car on the first visit and we wanted to see if the car was the right one for us by taking it for a drive.
Shame as the car looked like the one we wanted but would never buy from someone with such an appalling attitude. He appeared to be only interested in himself and we knew exactly what sort of service we would get should anything have gone wrong with the sale.

Bought a car from Brian in March and we love it! We travelled a long way as this was the car we were looking for (VW Passat), Brian offered to pick us up from the train station and was extremely helpful. Transaction was very smooth, with two young children in tow we didn t want to be there too long! We know where to go when we want another upgrade!
