Dr. Aros and everyone at Mansfield Orthopaedics are terrific. They are supported by the small professional team of doctors and nurses at Copley Hospital. My knee replacement was an excellent experience and now my wife is going to have the same experience. We give them 5 stars and a big thank you!
I was born here and spent 3/4th of my childhood in this area, Copley is one of the best hospitals I can remember.
On 6/21/2021 I went to the ER in the middle of the night with severe abdominal pain.. I wound up needing an emergency bowel resection, and spending 5 days in the hospital. I received excellent care from Dr Patrick H. ER doctor, and all the ER staff. My surgeon, Dr Donald D. was top notch, as were all the other physicians and nursing staff who took great care of me throughout my stay. I highly recommend Copley Hospital.
Fantastic hospital with compassionate care givers. I have been a tourist at Stowe for many years and the hospital improves in service and care every time we need it. Orthopods are amazing!
Most incompetent bunch of doctors and nurses of any hospital I've been to in the entirety of the state of Vermont. Don't get me wrong, there are good ones, but in my experience going to the ER there, Copley is by far the worst. Doctors and nurses alike have little to no bedside manner, if not just flat out dismissive and rude. They refuse to run tests, listen to your symptoms, or even do so much as give you an IV if you're not dying of dehydration. I live 20 minutes from Copley, 45 minutes from UVM/Northwestern, and if I had an hour before I died, I'd prefer my chances going the extra 20 minutes to UVM.
The oncology department/infusion staff as well as Denny at radiology are top-notch.
ER visit for neck and back injury. Stared at the wall for 4 hours, saw a Dr. For less than 5 minutes. Treated like garbage by the nurses and discharged. This was an injury I had seen them 4 days prior for. They made the same recommendations despite the fact there was no change/progress in pain management. Prescribed sedatives for pain!!?? Again. Waste of time and money, find alternatives to care.
Excellent care every step of my total knee replacement. Staff are positive, kind, compassionate. Wonderfully knowledgeable and skilled. Good education and communication. Very pleasant experience for me. Thank you to all who cared for me. Grateful for the wonderful care.
My husband rode a motorcycle today....
On January 8th, he broke his tibia and fibula skiing and needed surgery at your hospital. I thought that one of the only positives to come out of this, was that at least I didn't have to worry about him on a motorcycle this year. Unfortunately, the surgeon did a great job and today just 2 months later, he rode his motorcycle!
Huge thank you to all of the nurses and staff who cared for him as well, he was truly in the best hands.
