The staff is friendly. Dennise, the Bar Manager, was great and creative with his cocktails.

Food felt homemade and was overall delicious.

Come on locals let's keep it open!! Pizza was delicious

I preface this review with please do not visit the Treetop Restaurant thinking it will be like it was in the 80s and 90s. We have been so Excited to see the rebirth of Coolfont. When you walk in the fireplace and main room are inviting. The staff were beyond helpful and even gave us a view of the new rooms. I would describe the dining as American Casual with a view. Definitely try to dine when the sun is up to see the view. If you have time plan a weekend you will not be disappointed.

Great area views, cozy atmosphere, and the service was less than adequate. But we came for the food. They were out of osso bucco, balsamic dressing for the Greek salad, burned the ribs, and over did the mushrooms in the shrimp arrabaita. The ciders had no flavor and the coffee was bad.The only good meal was a chicken salad and the shrimp artichoke soup.

The food is incredible. The staff is extremely friendly. Very clean. Great experience. Please check them out you won't be disappointed.

New opening of famous resort... beautiful and tranquil!

Great place to stay , tucked away in the mountains . Great Bar & food . Very nice atmosphere & wonderful people .

Not much to review about just yet, but this place looks great since just reopening. Rooms only, restaurant soon to open along with many other amenities over the next year. The current owner is getting things done. I missed this place all the years it just sit there.

One night wasn't enough! Beautiful grounds, pleasant staff and local community. Amazing bartender, Dennis, with custom crafted cocktails (smoked blueberry margarita was exceptional). Fabulous, kind owner. We'll be back!

People that work there are so friendly this was our second time and the staff recognized us. Beautiful place.

Didn't stay at the resort, but the restaurant there was very good. And there are alot of things to do close by.... Tubing, fishing and other outdoor adventure

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at their Treetop restaurant! We had a window table with a few. The food was delicious and plentiful! The atmosphere was rustic and comfortable! The service was friendly! We live 2 1/2 hours away but this would be worth the drive.

A most relaxing atmosphere, clean and cozy accommodations, amazingly delicious food and helpful & friendly staff await you at this gem of a place! Will definitely be returning!

Excellent stay! We booked a room with a jacuzzi and balcony. The room was very clean, the view from the room was great and the jacuzzi awesome. Their pool is great and heated. They also have a great 4 person jacuzzi by the pool. The front desk ladies were very friendly. The treetop restaurant was top notch! Very nice decor, beautiful view and the food was just incredible, very delicious with a nice presentation. The breakfast also very good, the Eggs Benedict and Omelete was so yummy! Their Chef is great! The drinks were amazing, great bartender. We loved the restaurant. Special thank you to the waitress Anne Marie for taking her time to explain to us about the resort and proving us a 5 star service.
If you like to try beer there is a brewing (Berkeley Springs Brewing Co) about 5 minutes walk from the resort was well.

This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend staying here if you enjoy freedom. ;-)

Dried out chicken cordon bleu its dry and nasty. The couple we went out with got there food right away they where done eating by the time our food came out. Maybe if our food came out when they got there's it would not have been so over cooked. Our bill was $70. I would not have paid more if the food was eatable. My husband shared his ribs with me they were delicious.

My husband and I were looking for a getaway, stayed one night at Coolfont. The hotel is very clean, beautiful scenery and great staff. The restaurant in the hotel has a nice bar, home cooked meals and friendly service. Would definitely return.

It was a peaceful night. I got to relax and enjoy a quiet evening with no complications. I adore Coolfont Resort.

Had a very enjoyable time. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Dessert was great too. I'm sorry I cant remember the waitress name, but she was nice and very attentive. Thank you gir wonderful evening.

For a place that just reopened one would assume they would be well stocked! think again. Made several attempts to order an appetizer they were out, Made 3 selections for an entree, only ti be served a shrimp wrap that was crunchier than my house made chips. Did I mention the waitress opened with we're out of french fries, and we're out of mashed potatoes. In an effort to be fair maybe it was nust my bad Karma. Roll the Dice!!

Great renovations done to this property! Beautiful rustic decor, delicious food and drinks at the restaurant/bar, everything from fine dining to snacks. Awesome local beer served here from brewery across the street from the resort. Warmer months fishing, boating, tubing and swimming available in the lake just behind the lodge. Olympic size pool and soon to open new spa in building beside the lodge. Cabin rentals and adjacent building with additional hotel rooms also an option. Would recommend staying in the lodge. Very friendly staff.

The waitresses were very nice. The beer could have been colder. The kitchen staff could use some help delivering precisely what's on the menu. Our table of 6 had mixed reviews. House made chips and fries were very good. Alfredo was "great". Burger was not fresh and way overcooked and dry (pre fan, no doubt). Brisket, "okay". Po boy sandwich, "good". Salad was missing some ingredients. We did not order the pizza but it looked great , and the table that did were all smiles. We will return again as we know they will get it right.

Limited hours and menu for the soft opening. The food was good for the area! The cocktails however are to die for!!! Highly recommend the bar there. Lodge and timber themes create a warm and cozy atmosphere.

A must visit. Newly remodeled really rebuilt. Facilities are great including indoor pool, restaurant inhouse and nearby. Also spa coming up

Amazing scenery, Amazing Staff,, Amazing Rooms! One of the best experiences I've had in quite a while. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile and help with anything at all when asked. We have been waiting for them to open for a while and it was totally worth the wait!

My family and I stayed at the Coolfont resort for a long weekend and were greeted by such a very friendly receptionist. Our room was spacious and very clean. The restaurant was not great as the breakfast was undercooked but our waitress was very sweet and took it off our bill. We will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful atmosphere, food was delicious, great prices and staff was attentive and very friendly. Great place for a romantic dinner and the views of the lake were fantastic..We will be back and will tell all our friends.

Not good. One out of five of us was satisfied with the meal. Service was slow and even though we were there at 6, they were out of at least two menu items.

Food was good but a bit expensive. The waitress was very good. The view was nice.

Coolfont is easy to find and has lots of nice walking area out around back on the building along the water. the Inside is cozy and inviting.
We were the first to come for lunch at 12. No more than 2 other tables but we seemed to be waiting for waitress who kept disappearing out of sight for too long. The view was very enjoyable and the bathrooms are clean.
Tv was on and too loud since there was no one at the bar to watch it.
One in our group ordered smashed burger which she was happy with. it was a good size burger with a nice bun.
Side salad was good size, too
2) ordered pizza which i had to walk back to kitchen door to get them to cook more. Ask them to push it back 1/2 way through oven to cook some more. He enjoyed the pizza and plenty leftover for dinner.
3) chicken salad pita. We were disappointed that nuts are processed fine so you don't know they are there or get the crunch. FF are very good.
This is so much better than the Panorama.
Saying that, we will go back and i'll bring someone else.
Maybe the Thai shrimp !

We just stopped for appetizers and drinks. Pretzel was wonderful as was the hot apple cider. I tried the thai shrimp. It was more sweet than spicy, but good!

Went here as a child many times. My family Loved it! Happy to hear they ve done some renovations and keeping it going.

Need veggie selections on menu, like hummus, garden salad without meat, soup without meat maybe tomato bisque, flat bread plain Margarita, maybe black bean burgers. Would like to see comeback of Sunday brunch, but like it used to be. Elaborate.

Room was very spacious. Pool was very nice, and restaurant has great food. Staff very helpful. Janelle was great

Nice to see it brought back to life.
Restaurant was good, only gave 3 stars because of their limited menu.
I'm sure it will expand as it grows.
