April 25 found free parking, excellent starting point to visit the city of Taranto.

The historic center must be enhanced .... and not left to go to itself.

After a long journey we arrived from Ponte Girevole to go to Viale Virgilio. No indication of the closure of the relative via for the procession of the Carmine ..... it was enough to put a steering wheel before the swing bridge and one before the Ponte di Pietra. Congratulations also to the scooters with three people without a helmet who passed in front of the indifferent traffic police. Too bad you didn't make a good video.

The historic center of Taranto has enormous potential, but it is still far from becoming a reference point for artistic and cultural tourism in Puglia. Most of the buildings are in a state of neglect and those few still inhabited are in dilapidated conditions. This is the result of decades of civic and political blindness, aided by the total absence of cultural and recovery policies ... ALARM CLOCK

Municipal headquarters of the city of Taranto, a city with sad records: thousands of workers, on the verge of losing their jobs and unfortunately a citizenry, largely ill or at risk of illness. The iron and steel factory has always fattened the few and weakened the weak, jobs must be balanced with the health of those who work there and citizenship. Municipal administrations absent, as long as there is, live the king.

To park you have to pay the municipality and the illegal parking attendants. People park outside the strips taking up two seats and a lot of other stuff. Taranto is badly administered.
