Complete solar

My experience with Complete Solar has been extremely frustrating. My system was installed in November 2020. Then in January, they let me know that the city had no record of them taking out a permit, so they had to reapply and wait even longer to pass inspection. Finally in March, they emailed that PG&E had finally given permission to operate and turned on this system. I hadn't noticed any change on my PG&E account to reflect the solar NEM rate plan. I contacted PG&E and they say they never gave permission to operate and have no knowledge of my solar power system. I referred their letter back to Complete Solar to take care of. Now it's April - my system was installed 5 months ago, and I still can't generate electricity for my house. So far, it's been a big waste of money and time for people who don't seem to understand what permits are or how to get them before you do stuff. I'm beyond frustrated with the number of times I have had to call and ask them to do the job right. So I'll just be over here, with panels on my roof, a turned-on system, and PG&E sending me warning emails about being in violation of something Complete Solar was supposed to take care of and I can't fix without them.

TL;DR: Find someone else.

Quite terrible experience. Was told the installation will be done in 2 weeks in July. Have been waiting for THREE months since permit was approved! And there is even no estimation for the installation date.

The install team did a really good job, every detail is so perfect! The project coordinate team got approval from HOA, city and power company very fast. We are very satisfied with the project! Now we are carbon neutral!

Terrible experience. Requested an additional panel and was told we did not need it. Guess what, we did. When I spoke to complete solar about our dissatisfaction they tried to sell us something else! Total ripoff. Between the payments for the lease and the true-up with the electric company at the end of the year ( that no one explained) we are no better off than we were before solar.

My experience with Complete Solar has been stellar. Stress free no hassles. They made my experience transitioning to solar as easy and seamless as possible from start to finish. This is how a company should operate. My project manager Darlynn kept me informed at all times and was available whenever I had questions. The staff and installers were all professional, friendly and respectful . And the best part is that I was on the grid up and running ahead of schedule! They couldn't have done a better job and I would highly recommend doing business with them.

The Worse company out there . Don t waste your time, health and money and sign a contract with complete solar. Definitely your project will not finish quickly and communication regarding the project will disappear few days after you sign the contract. If you email, text or call the company, you will never get a clear answer.

New update regarding my complete solar project
We are in October 8th, 2021 and still waiting for someone to call and update me when my panels will be installed.
The company just responded to Google reviews, but in reality, they don t take any action. I even never received any call nor email from anyone.

Our experience with Complete Solar was hassle free, transparent and absolutely exceeded all our expectations. Darlynn, the Project Manager, kept us informed on each step of the project. The staff and installers were very professional and respectful. After the completion of the installation, everything that was moved was return to its original location and a thorough cleanup of the job site was done. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to go Solar.

We have been waiting now for 4 months. The system is installed, been approved by everyone but still waiting for a cell kit part. They have given me no timeline on when this is to arrive. I don't understand why they cant either change something out so it will work or give me a more definite timeline. We are very frustrated. It has already been over 100 here and we would like it to start generating. Very disappointing!

It's been so easy working w Complete Solar -all the way through. I felt informed and respected all along through the process and am very happy with the results. I'd heard of other people who had experiences with other solar companies with delays -needing to hunt down staff in mazes of bureaucracy. So I was hesitant to get started. Now, I am so glad to have found Complete Solar b/c they contacted me at each stage.

I have been very impressed with Complete Solar. The installers were pleasant and courteous and kept me updated on their progress. All of the people I dealt with at each step have been polite and gladly answered my questions. I'm excited that the panels are already working!
