Many a great night at this venue, wether for music or comedy performances and now getting a great makeover bringing it up to date. Bars on most levels mean not to large a queue for getting beverages. Looking forward to visiting the new cellar space for live performances.

Good facilities, well managed only criticism is that the main hall interior is a little dated (but it is a listed building - which is weird considering the exterior is modern) and could do with a face lift - smelt a little musty, but the entertainment quality and value for money is outstanding - wou...

Last night slightly different .my wife was recently injured in an accident and we were due to see John McCusker there. The staff there went the extra mile to ensure she could...

Went to see There's no such thing as a fish. Great show venue was nice too. Only thing was the stairs going in and out. Seems silly only having the one main staircase to funnel everyone down. Seats weren't all that comfortable really either.

Venue is big and spacious and has some great gigs on. The lantern room is more intimate for gigs and generally always had a decent time here!
Good for a cuppa and chill out too as there is space downstairs to hang out and have a coffee.

We visit Colston Hall at least once a month. Always have great shows, and usually reasonably priced too. Get yourself an annual membership, and you get first dibs on most tickets, and a discount on food and drink served on site.

Once the hall has had a refurb it should help with the accoustics. The seating could do to be more generous, especially for the taller or wider than average, and if you're carrying a little more weight, you'd be advised to bring some additional cushions to make the seating more comfortable. Hopeful...

Have seen quite a few performances at the Colston Hall. Bitterly disappointed that the plan is to change the name due to the link to the slave trade and Colston many many years ago. Perhaps the powers that be should remember all that Colston did for the city of Bristol and all for the good of the c...

Quite possibly the most uncomfortable concert hall i've evr been in (& there are a few..)
Would be fine as long as you are less than five feet tall, as the seats are crammed together, with VERY LITTLE leg room.
Other than that, accoustics are good, staff seem nice. Good local parking.

Avoid if ...
