College Advising Corps (CAC) is a non-profit organization that aims to increase the number of low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented high school students who enter and complete higher education. The organization was founded in 2005 by Nicole Hurd, a former admissions officer at the University of Virginia. Since then, CAC has grown into a national network of college advisers serving over 180,000 students across 16 states.
The mission of CAC is to provide personalized guidance and support to high school students who may not have access to adequate resources or information about higher education.
