Great place to learn! the conferences and courses ...

Great place to learn! the conferences and courses are great if not legendary. the accommodation is good. However if you are there for a while the food starts to become a bit repetitive. also, it's not the easiest place to reach

Went here for a conference on DNA replication. The venue is impressive with several spots to work and relax. Only downside is that I wish there was more lodging at the venue. I wanted to go for a run but was unable to do so due to lack of time and distance from the venue.

Hubby and I love walking there year 'round. Down the long hill to the beach & back. The lab plants lovely little gardens, & the views of CSH are great. Plus I adore science/scientists, and this is one of the greatest scientific facilities in the world. I feel an almost personal pride in that!

As a fishing spot, it is a nice stop for targeting...

As a fishing spot, it is a nice stop for targeting specific fish at high tide. The lab itself is closed weekends and quiet when there no events taking place. Security and grounds staff are present but doesn t usually bother you. Usually chatting with them yields the latest fishing reports.

The campus is pretty although all the buildings seem random and out of place. Visited one building and it seemed quite old and outdated in terms of public areas like hallways.

I like how there's a little beach like area nearby, allowing workers a place to cool off at.

This place is so so pretty! I went for a conference and brought my family (husband and two young kids) with me. We all had a really great time exploring the campus. We were there in late April so the weather was great and the place was beautiful. I was sad to leave.
