They had exactly what I was looking for: Harford flavor Rose Liqueur! Layout was easy to navigate, pricing was fair, the variety was nicely extensive, and the service was friendly and efficient.

Most all there beer is almost out or close to being out of date. Especially the cases and larger. There prices are not so great. They say they will add match, I had another liquor store on the phone to let them know that I can purchase a bottle of bourbon $10 dollars cheaper than what they had it for. They said NO I need an add. The other store doesn't have adds, that's there every day price. Will shop in North Haven from now on

Great selection, and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. It's easy to get your questions answered, and I think I've been offered assistance without having to ask for it more times at Coastal than in any other store. It's true that their prices aren't always the cheapest in town, but on the other hand I've found some brands to be less expensive there than either the liquor store by Kohl's (used to be the Wine Thief but they keep changing the name, can't remember what it is now) or South Shore Wine & Spirit in East Haven (at the other end of Short Beach Rd).

I always shop at Coastal for wine and spirits. They have a huge selection of anything you are looking for, and all the staff are friendly and are eager to help with finding what you need and answer all your questions.

Coastal Wine and Spirits always has great inventory at reasonable prices. Most of the time if you're looking for something you'll find it there. Looking for particular wine for a meal, a night out, or at home, just ask John he will surely get you there.

I went to Coastal Wine for the 1st time. During my visit I was greeted by an employee upon entering the store who asked if I needed any help. Once I got to the section that I was looking for - another asked if I needed help with my selection. The staff are very friendly, courteous, and helpful. There was also a huge selection of EVERYTHING to choose from. I would definitely recommend Coastal Wine & Spirit.

Good selection of craft beers. They have wine tastings there frequently. Probably the best adult beverage store in the area beside Wine Thief, but you don't have to deal with trying to find parking in New Haven.

I was totally ingnored by the clerk manning the computer near the Bourbons. I may dress casual but I was ready to spend big dollars on an expensive Bourbon which is going to be a gift. I gave up, went home, and ordered it on line. And people wonder why brick and mortar stores are failing.

Coastal is my favorite liquor store in the area. They have a massive, well-organized selection of wine, beer, and liquor. In comparison to other large stores (particularly in New Haven) they are extremely clean and friendly.

Selection ok...customer service needs much improvement. Compared to where I usually go where they're always friendly helpful and plenty of people on the floor willing and able to help you. My experience here was like they couldn't be bothered. Guy behind the service desk couldn't wait to get back to his desk and barely answered my questions. Girl who checked me out had a grumpy attitude. Too bad the store has a large enough selection but I'll go back to my usual store, Madison Wine Exchange, where they actually seem like they want my business.

I'll come here every now and again and it was a fine store with great selection... But now they also have some great items on discount and/or promotions on a few of the corners and I found some great flavors at amazing prices! If you like to try new things I'd highly recommend this place!
