CMMB is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of vulnerable women and children in need. With a mission to create a world where every human life is valued, CMMB works tirelessly to ensure that health and human dignity are shared by all.
Founded in 1912, CMMB has been providing healthcare services to communities around the world for over a century. The organization operates in over 20 countries across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, providing essential healthcare services such as maternal and child health programs, HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment programs, nutrition programs, clean water initiatives, emergency response services, among others.
At CMMB we believe that every person deserves access to quality healthcare regardless of their socio-economic status or geographic location. We work with local communities to identify their unique needs and develop sustainable solutions that address those needs. Our approach is holistic; we not only provide medical care but also focus on education initiatives aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles.
Our maternal and child health programs are designed to reduce maternal mortality rates by ensuring safe deliveries through skilled birth attendants. We also provide postnatal care for mothers as well as immunization services for infants against preventable diseases such as measles.
In addition to our healthcare initiatives, we also focus on nutrition interventions aimed at reducing malnutrition rates among children under five years old. Our clean water projects aim at providing access to safe drinking water while our HIV/AIDS prevention program focuses on reducing new infections through awareness campaigns targeted at high-risk populations.
At CMMB we understand the importance of emergency response services during times of crisis such as natural disasters or disease outbreaks. That's why we have established an Emergency Medical Team (EMT) comprised of highly trained medical professionals who can be deployed quickly in times of need.
We rely heavily on partnerships with other organizations including governments, NGOs (non-governmental organizations), faith-based groups among others who share our vision of creating healthier communities worldwide.
