ClickAyuda is an online platform that connects NGOs with private companies willing to donate their products. NGOs share their needs in the platform and they are contacted with private companies which are willing to donate their products, after which a public campaign is created. All the users can see the current campaigns in order to make their donation. By clicking in “donate” they share a preset message on Facebook or Twitter.
The company that sponsors the campaign will donate the NGOs large amounts of products according to the extent the message had reached. It is the people who, by interacting in the social networks, determine the amount of products the companies will donate to the NGOs. The users’ interaction in the social networks plays an essential role: the more they click, the more content is shared, and so the NGOs get more donations. The amount of donations is proportional to the diffusion obtained.
