I miss working in "Lazy Land!" Best coworkers & employer around.
My work and I drove down to Cincinnati from Willoughby to tour the facility and check out their press brakes. The facility, both, showroom and manufacturing floor, were very impressive.
Our main interactions were with very knowledgeable people. Any and every question I had, which was PLENTY, was answered and explained thoroughly.
We were allowed to see the inner workings of how these machines are built. Not only are they Made in America but, their service reps can be fairly local if we run into a problem. The machinery is also VERY modern in comparison to what I run and I was wowed to see how far technology has come in that aspect.
Thank you again for having us and we really appreciated everything! We will be making a decision after next week and getting back to you!
It's a long drive to get here that's about all I know
Good machine company has a bad business model. They want you to pay for technical support over the phone. I called and wanted a simple question answered that would have led me to spend money with them on oem parts but instead of answering my question and selling me parts they demanded payment for tech support. Wouldn t buy another Cincinnati machine if you paid me.

Since their founding in the late 1890’s as The Cincinnati Shaper Company, they built on their leadership with those early machines to begin manufacture of metal fabrication equipment in the early 1920's, and this remains their primary focus. They are one of a handful of U.S.-based, build-to-order machine tool manufacturers, and have shipped more than 50,000 machines in over a 100 years of operation. From their modern 500,000-square-foot plant and technical center on an 80 acre campus near Cincinnati, Ohio, they engineer and build their Laser Cutting Systems, Automation, Press Brakes, Shears, Powdered Metal Presses, and Additive Manufacturing, to the standard of ruggedness required in the North American market – with premium engineering features that stand up to years of rigorous use in demanding environments.
