The attention is fast and the dishes are rich. I recommend the vegetarian burrito and the quesadilla. You can add the toppings you want and assemble as you want. The prices are according to the quantity of the dishes. It is well located and easy to access. Hau chairs and tables available inside and outside the restaurant

Hands down this place has the best grilled fish tacos I've ever tasted. A few years back, my foodie companion and I stopped by this place on a whim and now anytime we're nearby, we make a point to come here. The fish is lightly sauteed with either Cajun or butter garlic seasoning then finished on the grill to add some smokey flavor. It is then placed on fresh ingredients and topped with a white sauce.

I had an Awesome late lunch here today, about 2:30pm. I can recommend the grilled fish (Cajun style) corn tacos. The fish was cooked to perfection. They re generous portions and I got 3 huge tacos for $9.75 I added an order of chips and salsa, pico de gallo. Their hot salsa is flavorful with a hot kick that ll heat you up! I d need to eat here a few more times and sample more menu items to decide if they re really a true 5. This place has real good food and not a fast food Mexican place like Taco Bell or Del Taco. I m including a pic of my Taco, just understand there were 3 of them for only $9.75
Everything is FRESH!!!
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Had the Baja shrimp tacos and almost made me puke later day - probably a mild case of food poisoning. Dirty kitchen (and tables) and whoever the brunette working the front counter was shouldn t have a job interacting with humans. She s not at all suitable for that task. Frozen margaritas are way too sweet. Kids quesadilla tasted bad as well. Not managed very well unfortunately. Was hoping it would be better as reviews have been favorable.

Food was really bland. Most of the flavor came from the tortilla and the caramelized onions, which they only added a small amount to the burrito. The bathrooms were also very dirty. It wasn't expensive, but the portions were small and bland. Overall experience wasn't worth it.

EDIT: Review was changed due to the rude response from the restaurant. This is really disappointing because the staff were very nice when we were there and the food was bland even though we ordered different things.

I have to say that the evening my husband and I came in we would have left if not for the young lady at the register. Our burritos were made incorrect and the guys on the line were bickering amoungst each other of who was at fault. I believe she said her name was Jennifer, she stepped in with a smile and said no worries we. Will get you taken care of apologies for the mix up and went right to work on getting it done. She offered us chips and salsa while we waited and that our order would be up as Soon a sit was ready. She offered to bring it out to us as well. She never once lost her smile and the line was out the door. I sat and watched as she went to the next customer and so on and she was the true definition of customer service at its best our food was ready and she did as she said and brought it right to us again offered apologies and that we were welcome to please come back, not to allow the issue at hand to keep us from clerking to eat where we actually love to come. We had stopped coming due to a similar situation not to long ago. This lady was new and is an exceptional addition to your business. Keep her as long as you can and customers will be smiling w satisfaction A special thank you to her for ensuring that our visit was not ruined by a careless mistake
Thank you Jennifer we will be back to see you again !

I typically don't order fish because, well it tastes fishy. I took a chance here based on the reviews and the baha fish taco was amazing! Everything tasted great. To top it off, this place has the first "compostable" straws that function as well as plastic. Finally my prayers are answered!

Good food when the employee listens to you and gets your food right. I ask for grilled shrimp tacos they give me fried then instead of asking what I want on it they just go down the line and start putting whatever on it then at the end they say anything else? Well I didn't have a choice in what's on it so clearly I don't have a say.

Same thing happened to my husbands food. He got a burrito he put the correct meat on but then again the employee went down the line and put whatever HE wanted on it.

The employee that did this was a shorter rounder Mexican guy who had a bad attitude and didn't listen to anything we said. We were pretty much just talking to ourselves cuz he did whatever he wanted. I really enjoy the food but honestly don't know if I'll go back cuz of the service.

If you get this guy ask for someone else.....

Very expensive, plus they charge you more for every single topping in your burrito. Served cold and staff was not friendly. Environment was crowded and noisy. Good enough for a $6-7 burrito but cost $12-14. Would not recommend.
Edit: I said crowded, not busy. There were not many people there making it noisy, just too many seats and too loud music.

Great fast casual Baja inspired Mexican establishment. Got their Baja fish tacos which their known for. Alaskan pollock was hand battered and dipped right in front of you. Came out with an immense crisp. Delicious. The quesadilla at the table across from me had beautiful grill marks on it. You can tell these guys really put a lot care and consideration into the food they prepare. Only downside was the pico de gallo was very watery which led to a soggy corn tortilla and the trash holes were a little small so you really had to work to shove it in there. Plenty of parking and single bathrooms.

Fantastic place. The guys there are super nice and they all know how to wrap a burrito. The shrimp and fish were freshly cooked to order and they were delicious. All the sauces were really good and our server suggested sauces that would go well with our meals which was cool. The sauces at the tables are also really awesome, worth a try.

Small taco place with a big bite. We spent some time waiting in line at this place but for good reason. It s a similar type setup to a chipotle but with a more mom&pop type feel too it. The food was excellent and the staff worked their butts off to keep the line moving. Pricing was pretty decent. Seating was limited but we were able to find some anyways. Nice place.

Unfortunately the food quality seems to have taken a hit. Which is a bummer for us! We visit the area twice a year for all of vacations and Chimayo was our go to place to eat good food. We used to recommend it to everyone we met. This time however, the food was tasteless and completely bland ( seemed like even salt was not added). The employees were overwhelmed with the rush and the service was also rushed, as a result. We are really hoping that all of it was due to holiday crowds (we were there during new year week. Although that's when we have been in the past too) . Will give it a try again during our spring break visit.

Service here is a joke. First dude greated me with a cold what ll you have? with a slight annoyance to his question. I get it, you just had a good 5 minute conversation(while I patiently waited to order) with your buddy ahead of me about how you haven t gotten to snowboard much because you work all the time. No big deal, some people just have bad days. Not sure if dude number one was stoned or what because he asked me three times for here or to go? , each time getting a little more annoyed. So then it s on to dude number two who has the (apparently super hard) job of assembling my taco. They must train their employees not to be friendly with anyone, because the first thing out of this jabroni s mouth was a condescending what do you want on it?! . I then explained to him I m not sure what are my options? Dude number two just points down at the messy tubs of unlabeled toppings with an irritated look on his face. At this point, I probably should have just told them forget it and walked out. To make things even better, they had forgotten what fish I ordered on my tacos and proceeded to switch between GRILLED FISH AND BAJA FISH FOUR TIMES without bothering to ask me what I ordered. I had ordered the Baja Tacos, and they came so saturated with sauce that they were barely edible. The tortilla had a weird stale taste to it, but perhaps it was the lack of personality and good service behind the counter that left a stale taste in my mouth. I used to like this spot, but unfortunately due to rude service and soggy tacos the past few visits, this will be my last.

I've been going here for years! Definitely one of my top 3 places to eat on this side of the county. People describe it to those who have never been there as "similar to Chipolte/Q'doba". I guess the process is similar but that is all. Most things are made to order(shrimp & Fish) and whatever isn't is kept more fresh in my opinion than one of those chains. Once you have one of their signature items (shrimp/fish, grilled/fried, burrito/tacos) you will be hooked.
