Childserv is a non-profit organization that has been dedicated to helping children in need for over 100 years. Our mission is to empower children and families facing difficult challenges by providing them with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.

At Childserv, we believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed. We understand that many children face obstacles such as poverty, abuse, neglect, or developmental disabilities that can hinder their growth and development. That's why we offer a wide range of programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of each child we serve.

Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs designed to help children overcome their challenges and reach their full potential. These include:

1. Early Childhood Education: Our early childhood education program provides high-quality care and education for young children from low-income families. We believe that every child deserves access to quality early childhood education regardless of their family's income level.

2. Foster Care: Our foster care program provides safe and nurturing homes for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. We work closely with foster parents to ensure that each child receives the love, support, and guidance they need during this difficult time.

3. Youth Services: Our youth services program offers mentoring, tutoring, job training, college preparation assistance for at-risk youth ages 14-24 who are struggling in school or facing other challenges in life.

4. Residential Services: Our residential services provide safe housing options for youth who are homeless or have aged out of the foster care system without permanent placement options available.

5. Family Support Services: We provide counseling services as well as parenting classes aimed at strengthening family relationships so parents can better support their kids' growth & development while also addressing any issues within the family unit itself.

Over our long history serving communities throughout Illinois (USA), Childserv has helped thousands of kids overcome adversity & achieve success in life through our various programs & initiatives.

We measure our impact not only by how many lives we touch but also by how much progress each individual makes towards achieving his/her goals.

Through our efforts over time - more than 90% percent of those served through ChildServ’s Early Childhood Education Program enter kindergarten ready-to-learn; nearly all (99%) graduate high school on-time; more than half go on college; most importantly - all report feeling empowered with skills needed for success beyond academics.
