this company has the worst customer service. I had 2 bills to pay for very minimal amounts and they threatened to send me to collections even though I paid weeks before through my health insurance company. When I spoke to them on the phone they pretty much said "tough luck"... I wish i could give them zero stars

This company sends wrong invoices for collections and is showing in the credit reports. And they do it on the back of patients receiving treatment. So fraudulent. I wish hospitals would refrain from using CEP America...

This is a Scam I checked the top right of the letter that it was posted first class for Michigan and the date was when were not anywhere near the two states to be from Madera which is totally different from Michigan. Be aware of this scam.

SCAM! How thirsty are you to send the first bill As a collections notice!

This may be the billing company for a Dr who performed services, including suturing a laceration at Mercy Hospital in San Francisco. The first bill we received was a collection notice! There were no details, which we had to find out that it was in fact for the ER visit two months prior, which we paid, because who wants to deal with a collection agency? Very unreputable billing practices. In the process of reaching out the the ER surgeon for details of the billing.

So is this place a scam? Because I just received a collections letter as well and it says the creditor is CEP America California. How is this place still up and running for all its scam and fraud?

Even after payment they will send you to collections. Really terrible

its a scam I never went to the doctor on the dates that they're starting.

SCAM. Appears they are able to hack into hospital systems and send a fake bill.
