Excellent choice for dinner. The menu is mostly Hindi with very good carry and fish for dinner. The desserts are delicious and the price is very good considering the place and the quality of the service

Food was extremely poor. I orderes a fillet and i got 2 tiny thin stakes. I asked them if that was fillet and they said yes. Pasta was also bad.

Amazing place with cheerful staff and awesome views. We had a really lovely time there. Their chef is great at his craft . Great tasting food, variety perfect for all food preferences and the staff was so welcoming. Cant get over the beautiful views, beautiful beach and comfortable distance to the awesome islands around it. Definitely a 2nd visit is in order!!!

Stopped by for breakfast one morning and enjoyed a relaxing and delicious breakfast overlooking the water and pool area.

Also enjoyed a prawn dinner which was just as delicious as my breakfast.

The pool was nice and they have plenty of seating with great views of the water. Be sure to check them out if you are in Vilancolus.

Cannot recommend this place enough - good food, nice and clean rooms, lovely food and above all very friendly and helpful staff. Ask them to help you organize trips to the island or inland, and you ll not regret it! absolutely love it here!

One of the best restaurants in Vilanculos. Everything is delicious, service is unbeatable and the views from the top are just stunning. We found it by chance and went back the day after.

Enjoyed a lunch on the 9th of June 2017, had a delicious chicken curry followed by chocolate cake. They didn't have ice cream so most of the deserts were not possible. Otherwise a wonderful dining experience. Even with an overcast day, one was blessed with wonderful ocean views.

We had dinner at Casa Rex and it was really good. Great price performance ratio. Unfortunately we had to wait about 40 minutes until we got a table. Its always quite crowded.

A very good older property, well maintained. The rooms are good, the air-conditioning and ceiling fans worked, beds were comfortable, house keeping kept the rooms cleaned.

BUT the best is their kitchen, the food is Portuguese / Mozambique influenced. I enjoyed the Crab curry, bacalhau (oven baked cod pie), Seafood rice, Lobster and Pasta were amazing.

Jill is very helpful, and is a great host. She arranged bookings for some activities that we had planned.

This is a family friendly place, very laid back and the staff are very polite and helpful.

I prefer this property to the others in the same area

looking out on a beautiful bay of Vinanculos this hotel is well equipped with two swimming pools in a well maintained garden. Excellent food for a small price. clean rooms with wonderful sea view.

Classy place with a casual vibe and amazingly delicious food. Try the thai prawn soup and the goan crab curry.

We stayed at Golden Sands the chalets-no sea view as promised no TV no wifi no microwave and toaster in a self catering accommodation and one evening we had no gas so it was such a mission as the reception was a bit far. There is no reception at Golden Sands.

Best value for money. Love this place. Will go back again.
