Owner was nasty on phone... really? Then I walked in went up to the counter gave my last name he jumped and said the order was just placed 1. Who talks like that to a paying customer and 2 I was Giving you more business I wasn t there to pick up !!!

An apology would have been the right thing to do... even though he jumped and was put in his place be a man ...
We asked for extra vinegar barely got any on the sandwich!!

Bad experience started from the phone and ended w no vinegar ....

There is nothing Italian about this place, on par with average sub shop. It's just average run of the mill meats, bread, and mediocre toppings, not sure why all the 5 star reviews are for, there is so much more they can do with sandwiches, fresh Mozz is ok I guess.

Authentic Italian deli experience, subs are my fav. When in town around lunch time, it's the place to go!

Their fresh mozzarella is the only one I buy anymore, so good!

Not really sure where others are getting this over-priced idea from. If you're comparing it to a $5 footlong from a dump like Subway then, yes, it's expensive by comparison.

Their sandwiches are STACKED with PRIMO Italian meats, fresh toppings like thick-sliced fresh Muzzadel (yes, that's the way it's supposed to be said), and served on really, really good bread. Nothing falls apart. Being an Italian and a cook, this place will not disappoint. Their medium (8") sandwiches are about $8.75 and are almost too big to fit into one bite (not a problem in my book)

not a fan the food not fresh at all if your really looking for something fresh and inviting I recommend Marra's in Emerson the food is great the service is amazing and they have great Italian coffee

Bland and overpriced ravioli, fresh mozzarella, grated cheese etc.. this place has nothing on pastosa's.

It's a hole in the wall. From the outside, you wouldn't stop here if you driving past. But you would definitely be missing out. They make amazing Italian sandwiches and don't cheap out on the sauce or cheese whatsoever. YUM. If you get the chance to stop by, I would recommend this for sure.

I was ready to become a regular until today. The man opens the door and I say I m here to pick up my order when he accuses me of giving him an attitude. Literally the only words out of my mouth, with no increase in my volume. Food, superb.

We came 6 hours from Pennsylvania to eat at Casa Del Sol. My mom's hometown was River Vale and she always told us Casa Del Sol puts all other sub shops to shame. My sister and I had never experienced an authentic Italian sub shop as we grew up in a very small PA town. It was so good! The meat was thick and generous and the ingredients are fresh. Hope to go back soon.

We just had a birthday party for my wife catered by CASA DEL SOL. I can't say enough about the job they did. Not only was the food delicious , the quantity and presentation was outstanding. You don't have to worry about anything, Pete will take care of everything. He advised me on the menu and arranged for Julia to bring, setup, serve and clean up everything .If you want to have a great party, but don't want to work or worry go to CASA DEL SOL. It stands above the rest. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is always also very delicious!

Best Italian deli in the area, without a doubt! Any sandwich you get will be beyond delicious, and anything you get that's already cooked (lasagna, eggplant, etc.), will be beyond delicious too!

I also highly recommend their frozen ravioli and stuff, it's so so good! And the homemade mozzarella makes a great snack.

This place is amazing for a number of reasons. They have a lot of people working at once so there is almost no wait. The bread and ingredients are super high quality. I had a mozzarella sandwich with tomato, roasted peppers and balsamic and it was delicious and fresh. THEN - my car wouldn t start in their parking lot and I went inside to see if anyone had a jump. One of the men working there stopped what he was doing and jumped my car for me, then let me use their bathroom which was only for employees. Go there for the sandwiches alone - but the kindness is a major plus. Thank you!!!!

Casa Del Sole is a gem nestled in the heart of Woodcliff Lake, NJ. They are known as the home of the overstuffed sandwich and for good reason. By far the best deli in the area. Fresh meat, cheese, and bread every time. Friendly staff and fairly priced. Be sure to get a cannoli too.

I always get prosciutto, mozzarella, and roasted peppers. It's the best I've ever tasted. Everything is great, no matter what you choose. This is the only place that I'll get eggplant parmigiana. It's as good as my own.

I go here quite often being that I live in the area. It's an excellent Italian deli. One of the few that serve pizzagiana ( Italian meat pie) served during Easter season. Whenever I go here I get something different. They hit the mark every time. Whether it's a hero on fresh Italian bread or a wrap you cant lose. Cant understand why anyone would buy a hero from any fast food place like subway when there's a place like this around. Not to mention the employees are all very friendly and the owner always hooks my boys up with a few cookies. Love this place.
