Accessoire pratique pour Yubabikes. Le système offre une protection efficace, mais attention aux courants d'air : par temps venteux, le véhicule peut dériver. J'ai trouvé une astuce simple : ouvrir les côtés quand je suis seul(e) et qu'il fait très fort. C'est regrettable que le modèle ne protège pas davantage les pieds comme c'est le cas sur le Tern.

J’ai testé la Yubabikes chargée et le démarrage en était parfois difficile, mais l’installation du support de démarrage a vraiment tout changé, la reprise est désormais fluide. C’est vraiment un excellent produit. J’aurais juste préféré qu’il soit fourni en standard, son prix actuel le rendant un peu coûteux en option.

En tant que vélo pliable, la Yuba Pin Lock est très appréciée pour sa compacité. Cependant, l'installation nécessite un peu de pratique car il faut souvent débloquer le rayon à la volée pour que la broche passe bien, ce qui peut être fastidieux, surtout avec un vélo chargé et une visibilité réduite. On regrettera l'absence d'un mécanisme intégré plus fluide, à la manière des vélos hollandais. Personnellement, je préfère enfiler rapidement mon antivol classique plutôt que de sortir la broche, de la ranger et de la réinstaller soigneusement entre les rayons. Malgré ces petits détails, c'est un excellent complément de sécurité pour son vélo.
