So here I am stuck in NC and getting a frantic phone call from my 71 year old mother this morning ... a Cap Excavation worker knocked on her door at 7:30 am and told her if she didnt move her car IMMEDIATELY then she would not be able to get out for 2 days. She lives in a duplex community with a total of 4 units off Alves Ln. 4 families are now unable to get to their homes for 2 days!! What happens if one of these people needs emergency medical help? My mother will now have to park her car a 1/4 mile away and walk across a field strewn with construction waste to get back home tonight ... IN THE DARK! With a little warning she could have made arrangements to stay elsewhere. Way to go City of New Braunfels for hiring YOUR uncaring company. One last question - would you put your mother in this situation??!!

Their drivers on IH 35 often drive 85-90 mph. Discourteous, and unsafe.
