One of the most diverse and quality buildings snuggled inside the gem of MASS District neighborhood, Canvas has so much to offer to the film and production industry but the facility is prepped for multi-use and so valuable to artists and creatives. Definitely check out this space!

Thanks Philip and the rest of the Canvas Films crew. They were always prompt to respond to my emails and calls, they gave us an excellent rate, and our green screen shoot turned out great. I would definitely recommend.

Great mid size studio plenty of parking. Close to downtown

Old guy with white hair was dismissive and smugly rude in his actions. I was at a casting call he directed for this company, so I'm not a customer per se. But, if this is what they consider being professional, they're horribly mistaken. I would never look to hire them for their possibly bigoted undertones given off since stepping through their doors. I usually don't even write reviews, but I had to say something.
They didn't pick up the phone when I called to ask for directions. I took three buses just to get there, so while on foot that would've helped. The white haired older gentleman low key copped an attitude because I arrived 40 minute early. He pretty much shoed me away, telling me to take a walk, when other early arrivals who came after me got to sit in the waiting area and fill out the application. My appointment was for 11 am, and they didn't get started until around 11:20 a.m., so why be put off that I arrived early?
While auditioning, I asked a question that the white haired guy just arrogantly ignored. Then said "this wasn't" for me after another exercise I admit to possibly slipping up on. His tone, the way he operated and body language said he didn't want me there from the jump. I was the only black male in the space, so that might be a reason for this guy acting the way he did. Not sure, just stating what went down.
Maybe they actually did good work for people seeking film services. But with me, I was disrespected and shoved out the door with their reactions of me being there. I usually try to not complain or raise a fuss, but this wasn't right. Oh, and their website needs to be secured and updated.
